Good Points: The accommodation was good but fairly basic, however, in view of the rates and the age of the hotel it's kind of what I expected. The bathroom could do with a bit of an improvement.
Bad Points: Certainly, the rooms, or at least the one I stayed in could do with some modernisation. The hotel itself was very good.
Further Comments: A very good hotel, the accommodation, standard room, was basic, but comfortable and clean, although quite dated. The rest of the hotel was very nice with very friendly staff. The restaurant and the food was excellent.

Good Points: Good value room.
Bad Points: Sink in bathroom was cracked.
Further Comments: Solid 3* in a good location. Good value for money, buffet breakfast ok. Staff nice and helpful.

Further Comments: Wil be using this hotel again as I have business in near by Leamington Spa.Excellant location with secure parking. Great if you want olde worlde charm

Bad Points: Night porter bordered on rude when asked a simple request about food. All other staff were fine.

Good Points: The character of the hotel was supurb. The hotel receptionist was brilliant and went out of her way to help us with a problem

Good Points: Good position for town and castle.
Bad Points: rooms we did not think they were up to the standard we were paying for
Further Comments: If the room we stayed in was supposed to be superior the other rooms must very poor. we did not have any internet connection and the room was small. The tv was placed so high it hurt are necks to watch it. The room was too expensive for what it was. we travel a lot and can say that fairly.

Good Points: The food at the restaurant was nice, good value for money and served until late
Bad Points: The whole hotel is a little creaky and tired. Not many staff on (same person checking in serving in bar & Restaurant)
Further Comments: Not sufficient parking on site, think the car park was being used by non hotel members as the hotel was not full and we had to park on the road. The hotel should give priority to the guests. Very close to the castle and town. But on quite a busy road, so there was traffic noise all night.

Good Points: Overall cleanlinness of hotel, and friendliness of staff. Superb town centre location with adequate car parking.
Bad Points: Breakfast served upto 10.00am every day.
Further Comments: Great directions and easy to find.Just couldn`t find a better location for castle and all other town centre ameneties. Really good restuarants and bars within easy walking distance.

Good Points: The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff efficient and friendly. we had dinner in the Knight restaurant and it was excellent. We will certainly recommend it and we will use it again if we are in the area.

Good Points: Breakfast was cooked excellently fried eggs to perfection comliments to the chef
Bad Points: found the bar and reception staffed by same person which was not a good idea ref no bar staff or no reception staff
Further Comments: difiiculty checking in as we were not directed to our room or lift cups in room were in a disgusting state but were replaced as soon as requested also room was uncomfortably hot

Bad Points: The decor was in need of attention, smelt of stale smoke downstairs, the breakfast was pretty poor
Further Comments: In all it was handy for town, the room an OK size, nothing exciting though, and all pretty brown and dingy looking. The bathroom looked nice and clean but the shower didn't work properly, there was no remote control for the remote control TV. The staff were friendly and polite and helpful. The breakfast was pretty horrible, it was kept warm on the side of the room, a bit like a school canteen. I think it was expensive for what you got.

Bad Points: Room was dingy and in need of modernisation, light showed through door all night from corridor, breakfast was poor, plates and food cold, and service was very disorganised.
Further Comments: Not good value for money.

Good Points: Good location for walking into Warwick. Excellent breakfast.Friendly and helpful staff.
Bad Points: Inadequate carpark. Decor a bit jaded in places.

Further Comments: Of the 6 rooms that we booked, two of them had no hot water when we checked in, however this was rectified. Breakfast was ok and the food and service was good. This is a very old building and the rooms are small but adequate, if you are looking for a more modern hotel experience then this is not for you.

Good Points: The location was excellent and a short walk from the main attractions.
Bad Points: The room was very small, poor decor and far too hot. The shower did not work and only produced a trickle of cold water.
Further Comments: The room was tatty, poor drapes, poor shower that only produced cold water, there was no ventilation and the room was unbearably hot. The cups and tea tray were dirty and there was nothing to entice me to risk trying the food, I even deliberately avoided breakfast and bought a baegel and coffe at the local MacDonalds on the way to my meeting.
