Bad Points: No teletext and smell of cooking in the bathroom
Further Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was very good and comfortable. The hotel was conveniently situated. The only negative was the exorbitant price of breakfast.

Good Points: We booked an executive room, first class accommodation, well worth the extra spend. Breakfast and evening dinner were first class.
Bad Points: Our room backed onto the roof with the air conditioning units, which meant the room was a little noisy, do commission based room bookings get the less attractive rooms?
Further Comments: We had 4 star accommodation, food and service, and were overall very happy with our brief stay - it is a lovely hotel. I would have liked better directions and instructions from the hotel web site with the nominated nearby car park, it took us 30 minutes to find our car on Sunday morning.

Good Points: The Hotel was situated in a great location in New Street.
Bad Points: We couldnt fault the cleanliness or the main areas. Just felt that if we had not had a good deal we would have felt let down by the room.
Further Comments: When entering the hotel we felt we had a fantastic deal. The staff were pleasant and we checked in with ease. The room was comfortable and clean (although a bit out dated)and was good for the night. Only down point was the newspaper we ordered did not arrive and would not have been complementary. The charge was taken off the bill.

Bad Points: Noise in bedrooms was not good. We could hear the next room's TV in our bathroom. We were moved but in the new room we could hear generators starting at 5 pm.
Further Comments: Overall good - we were treated sympathetically by the staff when we complained about the noise
