Good Points: Idealy Situated.Ease of access,Plenty parking spaces. Clean and pleasent accommodation
Bad Points: Cheerful friendly helpful staff.
Further Comments: Price, easy no problem method of booking (internet).

Good Points: The breakfast choice and the standard of food was very good.The waiting staff were very attentive and efficient in the small breakfast room. The bedroom was a good size, and quiet apart from the dog(see below). The bed and breakfast special price was excellent. We were exhibiting at the NEC and the journey to the NEC was quick and the roads quiet.
Bad Points: Reception area /lounge was a smoking area and it was very smokey on entering the hotel. The bath panel behind the door was broken. On the first night there was a dog barking in an adjoining room. Fortunately it stopped quite soon. However even though I am a dog owner I am not happy about allowing them in a hotel bedroom.
Further Comments: The hotel matched our requirements for a budget priced hotel offering breakfast within easy reach of the NEC

Good Points: easy drive to nec and back, great views of golf corse
Bad Points: room alittle dated and walls very thin, could hear guy in room next to me snoring all nite, when he stopped for awhile i got alittle worried,thought i'd have to break door down to see if he was alright, but it was ok because he soon started up again.
Further Comments: just a couple of things, i reported that the switch was hanging of my kettle and thought it to be dangerous the morning of my first nite stay but did not get a relacement and the shower dial was missing making it hard to turn it on and off

Good Points: Convenient situation, pleasant view, good evening meal in restaurant.
Bad Points: Room was adequate but shabby, bathroom grubby in corners. Milk for coffee was sour - asked for it to be replaced but it did not happen.
Further Comments: Although I booked online, the hotel had no record of the booking. Fortunately they did have a room available and we paid the rate quoted online. The receptionist was very pleasant and so was the waitress in the restaurant, where we had a good evening meal. The breakfast was satisfactory. I felt the en-suite bathroom needed an in-depth clean and the whole room needed renovating. Wallpaper was scuffed, curtains didn't hang properly.

Bad Points: no in-room alarm; mould around shower end of bath
Further Comments: Staff excellent; food good; generally clean; pity about amount of mould at shower end of bath.

Good Points: Hotel in lovely position. Flower tubs full and well tended. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast!
Bad Points: The beds and their headboards were old and needing replacing. The bedding was fresh and clean though.
Further Comments: As only stayed one night difficult to get full impression of hotel, room and staff. But the staff were helpful and friendly, the room quite adequate and a good choice of well cooked food. Best to ask for a ground floor bedroom if physically disabled and no lifts.

Good Points: If my wife had been with me, she'd have liked the hairdryer and mirror. I liked the iron and prtess in the room - without having to go and borrow it from reception!
Bad Points: Loo-roll holder was missing, drain from bath was sluggish. No freeview channels on the TV to augment a boring TV schedule.
Further Comments: I was pleased with my stay. Staff were helpful and courteous, I had a light supper in the restaurant, served by friendly waitresses, and breakfast the next morning was more than adequate. The super-chilled lager was a nice touch.

Bad Points: Damaged or faulty equipment. Bathroom poorly equipped inc. towels
Further Comments: Hotel was OK though a little dated inside. Room was dated, broken wardrobe, broken television, broken tap in bathroom, only two small towels. Breakfast was good and well serviced.

Good Points: The shower, and size of the room
Bad Points: Noisy - people arriving & leaving during the night. Complained to reception about this
Further Comments: Not much choice of good places to eat nearby (after an exhibition at the NEC you don't want to go far). Hotel restaurant priced at 18.95 for 3 courses works out expensive it you only want a main course, and unfortunately the one meal we had there, the food was bland. All restaurant staff are very good, helpful, polite. Breakfast is very good & well-organised. Quiet unless the lorries are delivering (5.45am), or if guests arrive late at night or leave early - hotel should really tell them to be quiet! or put them in a segregated area of the hotel.

Bad Points: The reception /bar area and sitting area were all cramped togather, we could not have a quiet conversation away from the melee of people
Further Comments: The room booked was a single and it was just that. It was clean and the shower room, though tiny, was adequate and the towels were quite good. The overall feeling of the hotel is very dated, it could do with a refurbishment. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the receptionist, as soon as she saw I was hampered by a strapped arm got someone to take my bag to the room, he arrived very quickly and again very helful. The staff in general were very good.
