Further Comments: My first room had dust on the bed, but the staff quickly upgraded me to a double room which was nice and clean and with a very comfy bed. The corridor decor gives the impression of needing updating and I found the timer lights annoying, by the time I'd walked down the corridor in darkness they were just coming on. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were all good, but the changing rooms had a damp, mouldy smell to them which was a bit offputting even if they looked clean.

Good Points: Friendly staff, and comfortable accomodation.
Further Comments: I was expectng a seafront Hotel - what you get is sea views from some rooms. Not a big issue for an overnight stay, but the desription could be clearer.

Good Points: Clean and tidy, reasonable sized room. Value for money.
Further Comments: Good looking exterior elevations, decent size car park. Reception staff helpful and courteous. Room fine, bathroom small but clean. Restaurant good - wide food choice inc. daily specials. Restaurant and Bar staff excellent,friendly and helpful,watchful but not intrusive. We would stay there again.

Further Comments: Good looking exterior elevations, decent size car park. Reception staff helpful and courteous. Room fine, bathroom small but clean. Restaurant good - wide food choice inc. daily specials. Restaurant and Bar staff excellent,friendly and helpful,watchful but not intrusive. We would stay there again.

Good Points: nice large bedroom,excellent cleanliness
Bad Points: the kettle where it was situated was not a good idea i feel that it was a safety hazzard.
Further Comments: On booking we did not realise that there was a heated indoor swimming pool and a small gym. the staff were friendly and helpfull the menu selection at meal times was excellent and cooked and served to a very good standard.

Good Points: Traditional hotel, comfortable room,10 mins walk from town centre (uphill on the return journey),ample parking,good choice for breakfast.
Bad Points: noisy banging doors in corridors.

Further Comments: Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was excellent with every choice catered for. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

Bad Points: very old fashioned no modern renovations seem to have taken place.
Further Comments: I would have liked to have known the type of clientel that stayed at the hotel before hand, as it seemed to me upon arrival it was a very mature on, hence the hotel was catered for such people. Furthermore i would have liked to have known more about the room amineties. Overall a decent stay but i would not reccommend the hotel to a young family or people looking for a chic/classy hotel - not upto my usual standard.

Further Comments: This freindly hotel was much more than we expected. The service and food were excellent. The rooms, and bed extremely comfortable, and overall we really rated this hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable about local facilities and places of interest.
