Good Points: The booking was actually made for my in-laws as a gift. They thought that the hotel was great - very clean, very helpful staff and fantastic food.
Bad Points: Nothing at all!!
Further Comments: My wife has sent an email to the hotel direct to thank you for making our parents stay as perfect as we hoped it would be. They could not praise the hotel and staff enough!!

Further Comments: Service and staff were excellent, very attentive and respectful. Spa facilities were good, and room comfortable. Food good also. Excellent value for money, and will certainly return.

Good Points: Good value clean excellent food friendly helpful people with a styler that gave a twist to the Seaside ambience
Bad Points: In places the hotel was a little tired in its decor but I believe this was being rectified
Further Comments: Very good hotel, good facilities, excellent lounge and restaurant Good breakfast and dinner Lacked a Bar menu for a light bite that would have helped but generally a friendly hotel in an excellent location Staff were extremely hekpful

Good Points: The staff were friendly and efficient, the hotel amenities were excellent. Very good breakfast and evening meal.
Bad Points: The twin bedroom was very small. The entrance to the hotel was not clearly obvious.
Further Comments: The hotel was comfortable, clean and well furnished but the twin bedroom was very small. Being elderly the fact that there was no lift was a minor problem. Food was excellent

Good Points: Bright and fresh decor, excellent postion near beach.
Bad Points: Single room was bigger than twin room. Bedroom was cold. Towel rail rusty. No shelf or storage in bathroom for two peoples personal effects. Bottom of bathrrom door scraped floor each time it was closed. No vanity light above mirror on desk to apply make up. No spare blanket in cupboard if needed. Main bar and lounge areas not very clean, dirty ashtrays, sticky tables etc. Detrius on floor in lounge obviously from a wedding at the weekend.
Further Comments: My overall impression of this newly refurbished property was not particularly great. Upon arrival we were impressed by the outward appearance of the hotel and its grounds. However, the majority of your staff ( reception and waiting staff ) were brusque and appeared harrassed. Our welcome upon arrival at 8pm was cool but efficient. We were not asked whether we had had a good journey down. We booked a table for dinner and were allocated a time of 9pm. We were not asked if we would prefer smoking or non smoking. It took a while to get served and shortly after being handed menus we were asked if we would mind ordering as soon as possible as the kitchen were closing soon. It is not our fault that we were given a table at 9pm when we could have made it for 830pm! The hotel itself is great but some of your staff could do with a bit of customer focus re training.

Good Points: Very good facilities, friendly staff, good food, comfy bed, overall a great place to stay.
Bad Points: Our room could do with a lick of paint on the woodwork, as it looked a little tatty. Bathroom had some mould on the sealant and there were a few tatty patches on the ceiling and at the end of the bath panel. Maybe this is all going to be sorted in the refurb they are doing at the moment. Otherwise a nice room.
