Bad Points: Ensure heating is working correctly, and that noise level in room is such that you can sleep.
Further Comments: Although the room was basic, the cost for some one booking in on that day was ﾣ27 cheaper, the heating in the bathroom was faulty, and a generator outside the room was a constant humming noise throughout the night making sleep nearly impossible. The staff serving breakfast were brash, and the quality of food not up to the standard expected.

Further Comments: convenient position for town centre and for local places of interest, quiet position. good size recently refurbished room. modern bathroom

Further Comments: restaurant good in the evening.Forget breakfast,stale rolls.tv`s don`t work.Rooms generally good and roomy.Quiet location,easy to find.

Good Points: The hotel wasn't busy, so we were given a room upgrade FOC
Bad Points: At check-in, we weren't offered a porter to show us to our room or carry our bags for us.
Further Comments: Nice, clean hotel in general. Staff all friendly and helpful. Maybe past it's prime in some areas, but good value for money at ﾣ60 for two inc. breakfast and reasonably central location.

Bad Points: Radiator in room not working so door to bathroom had to be left open for heat.
Further Comments: I was only there for one night and it met my needs.

Good Points: clean-spacious-loved the prints from the sales catalogue of the chippendale furniture manufacture on the walls
Bad Points: electrical connection to the ensuite facility controlled by the main room light---not good.
Further Comments: good value for money. not too impressed by the attitude of a management person towards guests arriving four minutes late for breakfast.

Good Points: Bathroom clean, nice location, restaurant (we only had breakfast) was fine, adequate parking
Bad Points: Cleanliness of bedding. The blankets were stained, one had grass cuttings on it. The coffee spoons were dirty. The room looked like it was in need of brightening up.One of the beds creaked so badly that a proper nights sleep was impossible. The main light in the room kept switching off by itself and then turning back on.
Further Comments: The hotel was fine for a one night stay, but the room itself was rather depressing and we would not have wanted to stay any longer. The position for the town was good about 20 minutes pleasant walking. The car park is not enormous and we initially had difficulty finding a parking space.

Good Points: The friendliness of the staff. They were polite and helpful.
Bad Points: Breakfast was not as good as at some places. Also some of the facilities could have been better, but were adequate for a weekend stay.
Further Comments: In my oppinion this hotel was not worth what we payed per night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A small billing problem was sorted out quickly and efficiently. The main entrance and reception are is very nicely presented. A good plus point is that they were the only available hotel in the required area that was within our financial capabilities.
