Further Comments: Directions for getting to hotel were good but did not mention passing through a new large housing estate which was a bit confusing since I thought the hotel to be quite isolated.It did however,stand in its own grounds well away from any houses. Food & service was excellent with a good choice for dinner & breakfast. Since there were only a few people staying it might have been nice to have some gentle background music to create atmosphere, especially in the dining room.

Bad Points: Bar was too smokey (but there was a non smoking area ajacent once we had bought our drinks)
Further Comments: slightly basic decor, but that did not distract from an overall pleasant feeling. Staff and owners very attentive. Food very good and good value. Welcome relaxed approach to requests. We would stay again, and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Good Points: I liked everything about the hotel. The cleanliness and all the items available ie. iron, ironing board, trouser press etc. The overall stay was excellent.
Bad Points: I would find it hard to think of anything actually. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.
Further Comments: I called the Hotel prior to booking so l had an idea of the items available in the room. The room, food, staff surroundings were absolutely perfect, just sad that it was for only one night, but if we are ever in the area again, we will be staying at this Hotel.

Further Comments: If you are looking for a nice, friendly place to stay then this is ideal. Staff were very helpful and polite. We were lucky - normally, we were told there are wedding receptions being held there - check this out before you go

Further Comments: The hotel was clean and located in a very quiet spot. The staff were very helpful and the meals were fo good quality. Transport seemed to be required if you wanted to go out of night as the local town was a good walk from the hotel.

Bad Points: Should pay better attention to fly problem associated with summer open doors and windows on agricultural area.
Further Comments: We were pleased with the tranquillity of the location given that it is a wedding, disco venue also. General cleanliness was very good apart from flies as above. Food excellent and good value.

Further Comments: We were pleasantly surprised by the Lordleaze hotel, which exceeded our expectations in every way. The owners made us personally welcome and we were pleased to find that our room is in a new wing of the hotel, with modern facilities and views of the countryside. The restaurant is very popular with both residents and locals alike, offering an interesting menu and excellent value for money. We will certainly return to the Lordleaze if we stay in this area again.
