Good Points: The location was for the price was very nice, the breakfast was nice.
Bad Points: The bed was worn out with noticable springs.
Further Comments: The hotel is over the bar, but not too noisy and is kept clean. The baths are reasonable. The bed was uncomfortable but servicable.

Good Points: It was comfortable, clean and roomy.
Bad Points: Because our room window faced the street, occasionally we were bothered by street noise.
Further Comments: Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Eurobar. We were impressed with the cleanliness of our room and the nice breakfast that was included. It was nice to have menu choices for breakfast and it was always delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location to the city center was great! We were able to walk to anything we wanted to see. Also, being right next door to the bus station was convenient when we came in by bus from Gatwick airport and also when we wanted to travel in to see London.

Good Points: The staff were very friendly and the cooked breakfast was excellent.
Bad Points: The rooms were a bit run-down and I didn't enjoy having to share a bathroom.
Further Comments: Although the hotel was a little run-down, the facilities were all in good working order and the staff were extremely helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Oxford due to its unbeatable central location and excellent value for money, as compared with other hotels in the city.

Good Points: The hotel was clean, staffing was friendly and it was centrally located, with nearby convenient car park for short term stay.
Bad Points: Although breakfast was very good, I didn't eating at hotel because of the stuffy atmosphere as a consequence of cigarette smoking.
Further Comments: Our experience of this hotel was a very pleasant one, and we'd stay there again and recommend it to others. The staff were freindly, the room clean and attractively decorated, and it's in a great central location. I was particularly impressed with the tea and coffee making facility in the room as this doesn't appear to be a typical service in England. I would have liked more information on finding the hotel and the lack of long term parking nearby. More information on the park and ride system would have been useful as we had to end up using this facility.

Good Points: the room was spacious, comfortable and clean
Bad Points: noise downstairs at night very bad
| Further Comments: room good, breakfast not bad, although could of done with less baked beans (half plate). Noise downstairs very bad through night. Also lot of noise from bus station - perhaps better double glazing??
Would of been useful to know that it was very expensive to park car near by; could there of been a refund on overnight parking if staying in hotel. At end of day probably works out same price at one of the more expensive hotels that include car parking. If it was on room and breakfast alone I would of recommended hotel - noise let it down badly |

Good Points: In the centre of oxford
Bad Points: Very Basic, smelly and parking difficult.
Further Comments: Overall not a friendly place to stay. Everything was very basic. There was a maze of corridors to the room which you went through the door to either the gents loo or from the outside. If you are a young couple and just interested in the night life it would be ok. Breakfast was cooked well but the state of the furniture in the bar is poor and smelled. I kept expecting to look up and see a group of old men smoking woodbines and reading the paper. We stopped the night before in Sailsbury city centre in a lovely room with a four post bed etc for ᅡᆪ65, and a hotel in Bristol with a TV in the wall in the bathroom for ᅡᆪ85,so I feel for what the room offers ᅡᆪ80 is very steep and over priced. We found parking difficult and it cost us ᅡᆪ7 so you also need to calculate this into your cost. As the place is at the moment I would not go back. Oxford it's self is lovely and I will be finding somewhere else to stay next time.

Good Points: Close to train station and it had a good location in central Oxford.
Bad Points: WiFi connection was not as solid as I would have liked it to be.
Further Comments: It was a fair stay to a fair price. Nothing extraordinary, but still a good b&b.

Good Points: Very central location, next to bus station
Bad Points: Water temperature in shower ( was lukewarm)
Further Comments: Unusual entrance. You expect a hotel, but enter a bar! The hotel part is actually hidden behind one of the doors inside the bar. When provided with a key, though, it is no longer necessary to go through the bar.

Good Points: very central, easy to reach, friendly staff
Bad Points: it's not the cheapest for its value - but probably Oxford is just an expensive place It's a bit unusual to have the reception at the bar in the pub - but well, it worked
Further Comments: Good place if you want to be very central. Rooms are still quiet although there is the bar downstairs, but noise from the street can be heard

Good Points: It was close to the town centre. On the whole it was clean and a nice room.
Bad Points: The Hotel should clearly state on the website that it does not have a carpark. we ended up spending an extra ᆪ35 for the nearest car park in town, and had to keep rushing back to top up the ticket on the car. The cost of the hotel was ᆪ80 a night and so usually you expect free carparking for that. They said to me that they were a bed and breakfast not a hotel when I questioned this.
Further Comments: Oxford is a lovely city.

Good Points: Very Clean, Comfortuble and Excellent Value for money. Great Location Next to the bus station and 5 mins from the train station. Pizza hut is oposite and the cinema isnt far away too :)
Bad Points: The communal bathroom was aweful, loo rolls piled up on top of the toilet. The toilet seat diddnt stay up. The extractor made an aweful noise and the shower was rotten and mouldy. Also The cleaning lady in the morning opened our door twice without knocking at 9:45 and again at 10:30.
Further Comments: Staff were very friendly and welcoming, A fantastic value hotel for anyone staying in oxcford for a short break and want to be rite near the city centre. Me and my partner diddnt drink during out stay, but had we wanted to the bar was till 1am and their were lots of bars and restaurants near by. Was ver pleased with the room, we booked a double and had a room to sleep 3 people, also I found the beds very comfy, nice pillows and covers.
