Bowfield Hotel & Country Club near Largs: Largs Hotels

Further Comments: Nice location, but too far from meeting

Good Points: Pleasant staff, excellent health club facilities including large pool. E'Spa beauty spa very good - treatments excellent. Food in the lounge pub was very good.
Bad Points: Mattress in room clearly old and thus very soft - sunk into the middle of the mattress.
Further Comments: A good choice for an overnight or weekend leisure break particularly if you are keen to use the health club facilities and the E'Spa health and beauty spa. I had four treatments over the two days and three were excellent and the fourth was good. The food in the lounge was good and was value for money; the food in the formal restaurant was good but expensive. Wine by the bottle was expensive.

Good Points: excellent clean room and bathroom. liked the bottles of soap and conditioner in bathroom.
Bad Points: dcould not work teletext on remote for digital tv.

Good Points: good shower and clean and comfortable. Pool and sauna etc. are excellent. The breakfast is the best in the UK. Staff are very good.Also has wi-fi.
Bad Points: The tv lost 3 channels, but I was offered a replacement straight away, otherwise nothing.
Further Comments: This hotel offers good food at reasonable prices.The leisure facilities are excellent. Good location if you need the North side of Glasgow. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Good Points: good shower and clean and comfortable. Pool and sauna etc. are excellent. The breakfast is the best in the UK. Staff are very good.Also has wi-fi.

Bad Points: Im Personal mehrere unfreundliche, unaufmerksame Mitarbeiter, Frￃﾼhstￃﾼcksbￃﾼffet unzureichend
Further Comments: Das Personal bedarf dringend einer besseren Schulung !!!! In dem augenblicklichen Zustand kann man leider das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Further Comments: This hotel is friendly and welcoming, it has lots to do for all ages within 1 hour of being there our 10 year old son had, had a swim, played squash and table tennis. Bar and lounge area nice food good excellent staff. Internet pictures could be better.

Good Points: The setting overall however the outlook of some of the bedrooms was disappointing. The toiletries provided were very nice.
Bad Points: The quality of the bed was poor & not well made. The linen did nor fit the bed properely. The towels looked & felt rather tired & dingy.

Further Comments: Whilst we did not spend long in the hotel (we were attending a 21st) we were very impressed with the quality and efficiency of the staff . Braekfast was excellent and again service that went with it and again on checking out was excellent.
