Good Points: Relaxed, 'country-type' hotel, excellent service
Bad Points: Some small improvements to the room would be helpful- net curtains to ground floor rooms overlooking a yard, cracked wash hand basin, etc, Not sure about evening main-meal options that were nmore than bar meals and less than the full a la carte.

Bad Points: Didnt sleep all night due to a freezer condensor working all night, when you book please check that you are on the opposite side of the new block. This is very poor for this standard of hotel.

Good Points: We booked a 'Prestige' room as my husband is rather restricted at the moment and I wanted to make sure of his comfort. We were very satified with the spacious accommodation and good facilities and everything we asked for was supplied. Staff were always cheerful, accommodating and positive. We did not sample the food as we were visiting relatives in the area.
Bad Points: If I am very 'nit-picking' I could say that the cups were a little small, there was apparently no extra bedding as stated in the prospectus - however, we did not need it - and the super modern CD player- television-radio equipment was beyond us! Some instructions would have been appreciated. Information about Places of Worship was not available and this would have been appreciated as it was Christmas. My main dislike is the entrance to the hotael driveway from the road which could be improved as it is rather bumpy and uneven - not up to the otherwise high standards you set yourself.

Bad Points: Price of breakfast not included so we chose to have it on the first morning but were very disappointed with the choice, presentation, staffing and standard of the food and felt it was not worth the price of almost ￂﾣ13 each. We went out for breakfast on the second morning!

Good Points: The hotel is quite personal and the staff are always go out of there way to be helpful and polite. The food is very good.
Bad Points: The basic rooms could do with a little bit of updating though the better rooms are very good. Bar menu could do with a couple more options.

Good Points: The hotel didn't feel like a chain.
Bad Points: The bed was rock hard and I could feel the springs through it, the sheets were rough and scratchy....had a terrible nights sleep. I'd forgo all the other facilities for a good mattress and decent nights sleep - which lets face it is whats most important in a hotel.
Further Comments: Everything we saw was good apart from the bed..it was rock hard, I could feel the springs through it and the sheets were really rough and scratchy....I had a terrible nights sleep...We weren't there very long, just a night, so I can't comment on the hotels other facilities. However, from first impressions it was nice clean hotel with pleasant staff, decor etc. Didn't feel like a chain hotel, would go back, if they could sort out the mattress!

Good Points: It was a 4-Star hotel but it felt very homely, smart but not 'stuck-up'. After a day working and travelling it is great to be able to relax and have a good meal. The food was fantastic !!!!

Bad Points: Although the day was extremely hot there was no fans available to help cool / circulate the air in the room.
Further Comments: It was not clear from the Web site that breakfast was not included in the price, this was discussed with the staff on my arrival. The room was unbearable hot and no fans avaialble to make the conditions better. The Hotel is in an isolated location and has no facilities so limited in what leasure time. From the business point of view the Hotel has WiFi although this is chargable.

Good Points: I was staying the extended part of the hotel which had only just been completed and everything was new, attractive and fresh
Bad Points: I have no complaints whatsoever about the hotel
Further Comments: My stay at the hotel was exceedingly satisfactory for the following reasons The staff were very helpful and friendly, the accommodation itself was very attractive, clean and well cared for, as indeed was the whole hotel. Everything was in working order and the service that I had access to in terms of catering requests was dealt with very pleasantly and even when it was quite late I was accommodated in a very positive and cheerful manner
