Good Points: It was pleasantand quiet.
Bad Points: It was far too hot in the entire hotel.
Further Comments: It was very easy to find this hotel as there was very good signage. The hotel was very pleasant, clean and peaceful. We arrived an hour early though we weren't allowed to check which was a disappointment. The hotel felt far too hot to me we slept with the window open. My biggest annoyance was being woken at 8 a.m. by the chaimbermaids wanting to get into the room extremely annoying this was far too early for my liking.

Further Comments: Nice quiet location and good size room with everything working except shower water pressure. Food & bar prices VERY high.

Good Points: Size of hotel, quiet, 31 rooms, grounds & gardens. Food in evening was of a very high standard.
Bad Points: Breakfast. No outside seating. Restaurant to hot at night. Shower hose fixed to wall.
Further Comments: When we arrived 5 pm one person at check in just kept answering phone and letting us wait. Breakfast was buffet only and not as advertised.

Bad Points: Room was very small with only one desk chair -- no other provision for seating. There was no alternative quiet area in which one might sit and work.
Further Comments: The hotel is situated in a very pretty part of Cheshire with lots of opportunity for walking. However, the staff are completely ignorant about the area, have no walking maps or descriptions of walking trails and footpaths. This is a fine hotel for the business traveller or wedding guest, not the tourist who wants to explore the area.

Good Points: lovely rural setting, close to airport, restaurant had a great menu and our dinner was superb!
Bad Points: nothing we didn't like however, would recommend more detailed driving directions to hotel. We had to stop for confirmation of directions.
