Good Points: Laid back attitude, cleanliness and extra touches.( Homemade shortbread)
Bad Points: Thin dividing wall, luckily the person in the next room was on his own and only made one phone call! Shame it wasn't very interesting!!!!!
Further Comments: Very good

Good Points: a reasonable parking space, very good breakfast, extra heating in room, big bathroom and the central heating comes on at good time in morning - alot don't!
Bad Points: the big bedroom window was very draughty even though it appeared to be pvc double glazed. The position of the single room right between kitchen and dining room would be no good for anyone planning on getting up later, the noise was loud enough to wake me, and being right opposite the front door means you get the noise from that and the constant light on in the hall shone in around the door.
Further Comments: It's abit unfair to have the single room in the noisiest part of hotel. The hotel is bright and clean but decor is abit dated. Is it haunted?!!

Good Points: Comfortable warm feeling large room with bath. Wonderful breakfast, very attentive staff.
Bad Points: Didn't get a wash cloth with the towels.
Further Comments: The Greystones in Yeovil UK is a very warm and comfortable bed and breakfast that is located within walking distance to the central town area of Yeovil and a very nice Pub. The furniture is in good condition and is comfortable. The double room my associate stayed in could easily accommodate a family of five. The bath in my double room just had a shower without a tub, my associate's room had a full tub with a shower. The only thing that caught us off gaurd was the absence of a wash cloth. The lack of a wash cloth is very easily fixed by taking a few wash cloths along.

Good Points: Everything. The hosts were so friendly. It felt like a home. We were greeted warmly in the parking lot. Breakfast was generous and lovely.
Further Comments: Probably the best innkeeper we had during our entire trip. Generous, friendly, truly concerned about us and our comfort. The kind of people you'd want to be your friends.

Good Points: Our room was spacious and warm with a very comfortable bed.Towels were changed daily--we like that.
Bad Points: We don't watch tv much when travelling but the one provided had lots of aerials attached to it and the reception was poor.
Further Comments: Our hosts Nicole and Peter were congenial hosts.i.e.There to help if you needed them but not in your face.Full English breakfast tasted excellent.Good choice of tourist info.leaflets available.

Good Points: The welcome by Peter, the beautiful room, fresh towels every day, the overall ambience making us very welcome after a very hectic day driving through English traffic.
Bad Points: Nothing.
Further Comments: From the moment we arrived at the hotel we felt very welcome. Ian was in the Ironman event at Sherborne in the days that we were there and being able to get late breakfast after the event without asking was wonderful. Peter and Simone made us very welcome and if we should be lucky enough to get back for another Ironman event or visiting the area we would certainly choose this hotel and also recommend it to friends and family. We are from Australia and it was like home from home. There really was nothing we needed to know as everything was very informative. The restaurants that were recommended to us by Peter and Simone, especially the one at East Coker were excellent.

Good Points: very welcoming owners
Bad Points: did not sleep well as both of us found the bed very uncomfortable...extremely hard matress!
Further Comments: thought the area was very convenient..... and although a little dissappointed the accomodation was more basic than we expected, and unfortunately the bed was very hard and uncomfortable,on the plus side the owner was very helpful and recommended some good restuarants. The house looks very impressive from the exterior but some of the interior decor is looking tired,we feel that the stairs may pose a problem to some guests less mobile, the breakfast room was cheery and the breakfast was fine. The staff were very nice.

Good Points: Beautiful house, really friendly owners who genuinely care about their guests.
Bad Points: The top rooms are a very long walk up several flights of stairs, and the windows don't have child locks, so you need to keep an eye on young kids!
Further Comments: A fantastic place to stay, but if you have young kids or struggle with stairs, it might not be ideal.

Good Points: Clean & tidy - homely. Good sunset view from upstairs room!
Bad Points: Water pressure in shower intermittent in the morning - perhaps because I was on top floor.
Further Comments: Good B&B - friendly and helpful staff - would stay again

Good Points: Location and view over garden area
Bad Points: Could not find any reasons to dislike the accommodation
Further Comments: The hotel is well situated, good car parking facilities and for those who require a hearty breakfast before facing the day ahead, then look no further. The staff are very friendly helping to make the stay more enjoyable. Having stayed at several hotels/B&B's over the past two months I found this hotel to offer me the facilities and standards expected.
