Good Points: Friendly staff,good price, convenient location and breakfast was good.
Bad Points: Very dated decor and equipment throughout the hotel, my shower was over 15 years old and was not very efficient.Breakfast was only served until 9am on Saturday morning and for people who have been on a night out this is too early.

Bad Points: never been in hotel were the remote control is actually chained down
Further Comments: this hotel is very poor stinks of cooking the staff are very rude one of the staff threated my girlfriend the receptionist was very rude and someone from the bar was also very rude.

Bad Points: Breakfast finished too early. Would be better if it lasted until 10am at weekends.

Good Points: The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent
Bad Points: The actual room was desperate for updating, although clean was very shabby
Further Comments: I would stay there again because the staff and the food made up for the very poor state of the bedroom. We were visiting relatives so did not need to stay in the hotel apart from sleeping etc. It is a lovely old building and I imagine it is great for functions. I would recommend the hotel but would make sure I told people that it is very out of date regarding facilities.

Further Comments: I was pleased by the overall experience given the price I paid. There was a main hot water pipe passing through my room which caused it to be overheated - anyway I opened the window to cool the place down!
