Good Points: Friendly staff, good sized room. The 'Hungry Horse' menu is great value.
Bad Points: Smell of cigerette smoke in the rooms (i was unaware you were still able to smoke in these rooms) and hallways.
Further Comments: Staying here again next week, and if I'm working in this area again I will most probably stay here again.

Good Points: It was spacious and clean with good tea and coffee making facilities
Bad Points: The mould on the bathroom ceiling and a broken extractor fan which is causing it. No temperature control on the shower either.
Further Comments: we had an enjoyable stay. The room was a good size. The food was very good value. They should say on the menu that the sunday roast is a lunchtime carvery and is not always available in the evening. The hotel was a bit tired but still very nice. No road noise at all and a comfy bed. Upstairs neigbours were a bit noisy.

Good Points: Convenience of restaurant and bar, along with the fact that it was a Thursday night and there was a Quiz Night on which helped to make the stay more enjoyable.
Bad Points: Bed sunk towards the middle and I rolled inwards all night.
Further Comments: I would like to have known that it was a Hungry Horse restaurant and details of the food available before booking.

Good Points: all the facilities were good,room was clean and warm and food was excellent.
Further Comments: my expectations of the accommodation were met and ourselves and the couple who were with us had a pleasant and enjoyable stay

Good Points: It was a ground floor room, reasonably quiet overnight as far as other guests were concerned, but we were awoken on occasion by equipment noise such as heating or air conditioning.
Bad Points: Two of the wall lights did not work.
Further Comments: It was easy to find and book in, there was a circlein front of the door to offload cases and passengers, then a one way driveway up to the car park about 50 metres away. We had to go into the main bar to find someone to book us in, we would have preferred a bell push!

Good Points: lots of space, clean and friendly
Further Comments: When arrived the check in was a little confusing but we managed to sort it out very quickly. i would highly recommend the hotel as it was good vaule for money. Food was very nice and reasonibly priced. We were told that it would be a 10 minute walk from the train station, unfortunely it took about 30 minutes as we had heavy bags.

Good Points: It was very clean, reasonably priced and the staff were helpful. It was also ina nice location with plenty of car parking.
Further Comments: A pleasant overnight stay which set us up for the journey home after a good breakfast.

Bad Points: No bar after closing time. No remote control for the TV!

Bad Points: Shabby restaurant faciities
Further Comments: Reasonable accommodation, shabby restaurant, poor quality breakfast. Check in and check out disorganised - not informed of coded late entry security lock number. Check out delay while staff hunt for stationery.

Further Comments: Very good overnight stay.Clean ,comfortable accommodation with dining facilities on site at a reasonable cost.
