Good Points: The hotel was very close to the city centre & all local amenities
Further Comments: When booking online it did not say the gym & sauna were currently under refurbishment. We booked this hotel in particular because of these facilities. We were disappointed to learn upon arrival that these facilities were not available.

Good Points: size of room was good
Bad Points: service, they didn't have keys for certain rooms and there was confuson as to which room i'd be staying in
Further Comments: Hotel was hard to find, although this was more because of the roads in bradford, no real signs to the hotel though, i had to ring for directions. Breakfast was good, no baked beans though!

Good Points: Convenient (if noisy) location, good parking, beautiful old building
Bad Points: Poor room. Incredibly slow restaurant service
Further Comments: I've stayed in the Victoria several times before and I'm afraid that this is likely to have been the last. I was given a poor room with insufficient power points, ragged furniture and mouldy bathroom which directly overlooked the very noisy travel interchange, yet the hotel was clearly nowhere near full. like last time, my evening plans were disrupted by the incredibly

Good Points: The second room we were given was okay but not comparable to North American standards. The first room was a pokey little room in the corner of the hotel and for the price you were charging not acceptable.
Bad Points: The bar could do with maybe a pianist or some other entertainment.
Further Comments: I was rather disappointed in the hotel as my memory of the hotel when I lived in Bradford 30 years ago was that is was impressive but now it seemed to be a little dingy and in need of updating and painting. I found it expensive compared to North America for the services you provided, I was very impressed by the young man from Lithuania who was some kind of an assistant manager, he was very helpful to us and so polite and also he was enthusiastic abpout his position at the hotel and he would do anything for us, and the indian lady who was on the desk was also very helpful and had a nice personality.

Good Points: Spacious, impressive victorian building - quiet
Bad Points: Could do with some general decoration
Further Comments: Covvieniently located for the centre of Bradford and a good base for local sightseeing, such as Bronte Country. Convienient parking next to hotel. Comfortable restaurant with a reasonable menu. Good sized rooms with high celings. Helpful and friendly staff. We had an enjoyable weekend break.

Good Points: Good central easy to find location, ample free-parking, friendly helpful staff, nice smart room and bathroom.
Bad Points: Hotel is advertised as having CD/radio's in the rooms - They no longer do for some reason. Would be nice to be able to order a decent meal to the room upon arrival in an afternoon.
Further Comments: This is an excellently located, clean, smart hotel with helpful staff. With a little more thought it could be perfect. Could do with a full room service menu. The restaurant is a little overly priced for the normal guest.

Bad Points: Breakfast - you are clearly understaffed and most of the people working for you dont understand english very well. ᆪ9.95 is expensive enough for breakfast but he ried to charge ᆪ1.50 extra for a cup of coffee - outrageous!

Good Points: I LIKED THE FACT THAT THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND WELL PRESENTED. THE ROOM WAS VERY WARM BUT THERE WAS A FAN AVAILABLE, WHICH IMPROVED THINGS.
Bad Points: I FOUND THAT THE STAFF WHICH WERE TAKING ORDERS FOR ROOM SERVICE AT NIGHT SEEMED LIKE THEY COULDN'T REALLY BE BOTHERED.
Further Comments: OVERALL I ENJOYED MY STAY AT THE HOTEL. THE CHECK IN WAS EASY AND EFFICIENT AND THE ACCOMODATION CLEAN AND WELL PRESENTED.

Good Points: very good and nice staff, great restaurant and bar, interior of rooms and hallways old, a bit worn out, but chracteristic, very nice atmosphere
Bad Points: all rooms should have windows which can be opened... (I changed rooms because of this. Especially smoking rooms should have the possibility to have real fresh air coming in...)

Good Points: very good accommodation rooms clean and tidy
Bad Points: none
Further Comments: The Victoria Hotel Has a relaxed friendly atmosphere. This is reflected in the staff, nothing is any trouble. Facillities within the hotel range from fitness suite, bar, restuarant to satelite tv. Restuarant has a wide variety of foods to suit all. The food and service again was excellent. Highly recommended

Good Points: Comfy bed. Sky TV.Good lobby.
Bad Points: The electricity in the first room we were given was not working, so we had to change rooms which was most annoying. So perhaps, if electricity was checked before giving guests the room might be a good idea. Also, when my dinner came (beef) it was extremely rare. Perhaps when the waiter(ess) takes the order they could ask And how would you like the beef cooked sir?, or something like that.
Further Comments: Already said enough in previous boxes. Nice hotel. Would stay again

Good Points: The hotel was clean and all the staff where nice and friendly.
Bad Points: As far as I could see nothing really.
Further Comments: I enjoyed the stay very much the only problem I had was my room was on the road opposite Bradford interchange where I could hear the traffic most of the night. But I expected some noise but not as much as I heard.Mainly because where I live the buses finish alot earlier.Next time I will get a room away from the road.

Good Points: Loved the classic ambience of an older hotel -- large foyer, period fittings. I thought it was very attractive, reflecting its heritage as a grand hotel of earlier times.
| Bad Points: They need to make sure their wireless networking penetrates to ALL the rooms. I was in a corner room at the end of the hall, and the Wi-Fi didn't reach that far.
Business travellers also need a phone on the desk as well as beside the bed. |
Further Comments: I was only there one night. The room was a bit small, but I had only ordered a single, and the en-suite bathroom was quite generous.

Good Points: A very nice room and bathroom, comfortable bed, and nice touches -fruit, tea and coffee.
Bad Points: Better soundproofing (noises from above!) and not overlooking bus station.
Further Comments: I would recommend this hotel for its convenience - near the station and central. The staff were very helpful, and the no-smoking floor was a bonus. It was a pity we were given a room, however nice, overlooking the bus station and not the square at the front, although the hotel was not full. Some of the main areas a little faded, although the dining room was very plush. Food only adequate. But at ᆪ80 for a one night leisure break for two it was good value.

Good Points: I asked for a double bed but had to accept twin room.
Bad Points: Bathroom fittings old, cracks everywhere, lightbulb broken.
Further Comments: I liked the hotel very much but would appreciate some repairs to be done.
