Good Points: Clean room and ensuite,had everything we required.Near to shops,restaurants,pubs and local attractions.
Bad Points: Windows on the outside were dirty, no air conditioning.

Bad Points: it was one of the noisiest places i have ever stayed in. noise from nearby pubs and clubs went on all night food in bar area was poor and expensive

Good Points: Nice size room and clean when we arrived
Bad Points: One the 2nd day we left our room @11am to visit the town for the day. We returned at approxmiately 5pm and the cleaning staff had not cleaned the room, replaced the towels or coffee service. This was very POOR service.
Further Comments: Beside above comment that the cleaning room service should have been better the rest was ok.

Good Points: very nice hotel, perfect location
Bad Points: Very unfriendly reception personnel. Difficult to get through to the reception as there is no one answering the phone. No one probably told them that a smile goes a long way! Seemed that we were very unwelcome in the hotel.

Good Points: The staff were very helpful and courteous. Facilities were adequate and well presented.
Bad Points: The room was situated at the rear of the premises with a back alley view and noise from what appeared to be a generator in the evening. The room had good but basic facilities which you expect in a hotel with slightly lower rating.
Further Comments: The hotel was very clean, well presented and the staff exceptional. I would have liked to have known the location of my room prior to booking. Overall the hotel and the experience was fine, I maybe was looking for a bit more being a four star hotel. Also the car parking facilities are not the best but being situated in Edinburgh city centre there's not much that can be done about that.

Good Points: Nice food in the restaurant.Gain access to hotel from exit at railway station, as well as on the bridge
Bad Points: Check out was a nightmare. Took staff ages to arrange the bill. Ceilings above swimming pool falling to bits.

Good Points: Warm, clean and as we had the premier room, very relaxing and quiet with a great size bed.
Bad Points: We booked a package price which included dinner. I was a little disappointed to note you had to pay supplements for certain dishes, only being ￂﾣ4.50 I know but I felt this was surely not really going to make a huge difference to the hotel. Could be more choice on the menu and less supplements for dishes such as cheese boards and coffee. Would have been nice to choose cheese or coffee instead of the desert.
Further Comments: The staff were very helpful and friendly even when standing near the lift they would greet you. The room was made up lovely and made it romantic. Great idea have the Romantic Package. Perfect accommodation for our wedding anniversary weekend. Thanks to everyone for making such a memorable and relaxing one.

Good Points: Appreciated the friendly welcome from the reception staff. Location of the Hotel was first class.
Bad Points: Disappointed that there was no reading light on one side of the bed.
Further Comments: We were very pleased with our choice of the Hotel.It suited our needs well. Close to the Station and the Airport bus. We would be happy to stay again.

Good Points: Super king size bed. Nice bath with good shower.
Bad Points: Quite a small room for the cost. Noisy, but it was a rugby weekend so par for the course. Remote control for tele didn't work.
Further Comments: A first class hotel where all staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. Good extra king size comfy bed made the noisy rugby revellers outside easier to cope with.
