Further Comments: A quaint well run hotel. We had the dinner B&B package which was both of excellent quality and good value. The quality of the evening meal was a pleasant surprise. Fortunately, our room (rm6) was away from the main road allowing a good night's sleep.

Good Points: The setting and the proximity to relatives at Carhampton
Bad Points: The road noise at night and the noise of creeking floorboards above our room both day and night
Further Comments: The newly installed managing couple were very attentive and made our stay pleasant. The dinner menu was restrictive and the fish just tasteless. The closeness of the main raod to the Hotel should have been stated.

Good Points: Incredibly warm and friendly staff/owners
Bad Points: The place was in transition due to new owners so the facilities were being renovated. Not really a criticism as I'm sure the place will be beautiful when it's finished. Also, the rooms were a little chilly at times.
Further Comments: Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Good Points: Nice character property - my colleague's room was of a good standard.
Bad Points: My room was in an annexe and was of a much lower standard than my colleague's in the main hotel. There was no hot water in the morning and when I menditoned this to the owner I was told you have to let it run, as it takes a long time to get to that part of the building. Clearly this is a regular problem and yet the only notice in the room was warning of very hot water! I am only glad that my colleague (who was a client) got the better room.
Further Comments: I would recommend this hotel but only with a warning about the variable quality. The dining facilities were good.

Further Comments: This is a super hotel and very relaxed. The service is spot on and the family running this hotel know exactly how to treat their guests. There was a lack of plugs in the room but this was no problem really, it might be if you were picky about things. There was no information about pubs/restaurants in general area but I think it is because locals use the lovely bar and restaurant the hotel has to offer and why drive somewhere else when you can have a lovely meal and drink and go straight up to bed ! (the food is good)

Good Points: We loved knowing that the cottage in which we stayed was over 300 years old!
Bad Points: There was a HUGE spider that came out of the vent above the bed in the morning! It's a funny story though.
Further Comments: The Dragon House was an exceptional hotel in which to stay. The staff were all very friendly and warm, including the bar and restaurant staff. The grounds were beautiful and we'd love to see it in the summertime!

Further Comments: The holel and facilities were very good, but it was a shame we were the only people staying there and the only people having dinne as at times we felt awkward, but I suppose this was to be expected on a rainy November Monday.

Good Points: the room was lovely
Further Comments: i had lovely time there the staff where very nice. the room was well keep. we eat there and the food was lovely we will be staying there again

Further Comments: I was extremely pleased with the Dragon House and the level of service was extremely good also, very friendly and informative hosts!
