Good Points: Friendly service. Room in adjoining very generous and comfortable. The outbuilding smelt damp and probably could do with some redecoration and upgrade.
Bad Points: The outbuilding smelt damp and probably could do with some redecoration and upgrade.
Further Comments: Food very good however would have expected a cooked breakfast for the cost. Continenetal breakfast adequate and a healther option.

Good Points: Quiet, not a typical corporate hotel, great staff
Further Comments: Had a very good experience generally. Room was somewhat funky but charming. Staff was tops.

Good Points: Quiet and friendly family run hotel, with adequate facilities in room
Further Comments: Friendly hotel, would have prefered if lounge area was non smoking. Restaurant facilities good and efficient service. My room had Jacuzi bath, and some rooms have flat screen TV's with selected Sky TV channels

Good Points: The hotel is a grand old house converted to a hotel. It has lots of character and charm. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Bad Points: Value for money with accommodation is difficult to define in the UK but the tariffs appear high.
Further Comments: The Brockenhurst is a lovely place to stay and it has far more charm than an impersonal hotel. As the owners of the hotel provided personal service, the standard was high. The hotel provides a good choice of food and beverage and as it also acts as a local pub for residents in the area (which is very upmarket), it has a more personal ambience than a large hotel. Comfortable bed.

Good Points: Convenient to party venue!
Bad Points: Shower stall too small.
Further Comments: The standard of accommodation was somewhat better than expected and ideal for the single night stayed. The bar was pleasant and the breakfast excellent.

Bad Points: room comfortable but a bit chintzy, but then that's everywhere - not really a problem.
Further Comments: fine overall. Nice staff, nice breakfast. Probably a little expensive for what it was - rooms would be better appointed in modern hotels; fitted bath/shower rooms etc. - but it was a very pleasant place to stay.
