Further Comments: The room was adequate but in need of renovation, but as we did not spend a lot of time in the room this didn't spoil our visit. We stayed at the hotel in November last year and thought the dinner bed and breakfast package was such good value for money that we overlooked what was lacking in the room.

Good Points: Free parking. Access 24 hours a day so you could come & go as you please.
Bad Points: Cheap toilet rolls, not enough of them. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Not enough towels for 2 people. Breakfast menu great. The dirt & dust underneath the hot food counter was shocking.

Bad Points: Lack of air conditioning in room. Unable to sleep properly due to heat and traffic noise as window had to be left open

Good Points: Just being ground floor
Bad Points: Creaking floor,Creaking bed,No towels in room,Radio not working,Wardrobe door falling of,Wardrobe door handle loose,Tea tray not replenished,Room needs upgrading,The valance sheets where to small and did not fit bed,Survey left in room by other guest and felt the same way as myself.
Further Comments: That I was going to get a room that was comfortable,clean,have all amenities in the room,and worth the money I paid.Very poor standard

Good Points: the dog friendliness
Further Comments: would like to commend the receptionist who talked us in, as we did not know our way around Birmingham at all, the barman who gave us advice about the best way to the NEC and the restaurant staff who were very understanding of our need to eat as well as look after our dog

Good Points: Friendly staff, close to university and very good value. I especially liked the leisure facilities (Gym & Pool)
Bad Points: Room hadn't yet been refurbished so was a bit shabby.
Further Comments: Staff very friendly and helpful. Extremely good value for closeness to University and facilities available. Parking was very easy and hotel is close to Five Ways shopping. Ideal for visit to Birmingham for business or pleasure. I will definitely stay here again.

Further Comments: Very good value for money and friendly, helpful staff especially at the front desk. My only problem was that i got stuck in the lift on my way to the leisure suite and the call button did not work. Luckily we were on a floor so we could bang on the door to get attention but I dread to think how long we would have been there had we got stuck between floors.
