Good Points: Friendly helpfull staff. Food excellent.
Bad Points: General decoration and equipment is dated, has an old worldy atmosphere. Some areas were not yoo warm.

Good Points: The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was adequate. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful.
Bad Points: General standard of room - looked tired. The attention to detail was lacking especially the room curtains and shower facilities. If the booking is for a double then the room should be set up as such. The cleanliness of pillows was a major disturbing factor.
Further Comments: The room was was a little tired. The curtains were drooping in parts from the rails and unattached at the end. Seemed that there was little attention to details. The en-suite bathroom was cold and was only set up for a single occupancy. We had to request more towels. The shower was very strange and it seemed to lacking a spray shower head. The bathroom was very cold. The bed was comfortable but we had to request the replacement of three pillows as the ones provided were badly stained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. The night we stayed the hotel had a jazz evening which meant the carpark was very full and we had to repark once the music finished. We do not intend to use this hotel again.
