Further Comments: Although I was on business, being this close to a beach, as a leisure stay it would have been good although it is a little isolated from other facilities in Weston Super Mare itself if you are after a quieter stay then this is the place. Good restaurant and bar meals.

Good Points: Cleanliness and facilities of the the accn was good.
Bad Points: The only observation I have about the accn was the shower unit within the room was not working correctly, it would appear that the showerhead was faulty (possible build up of lime, consequently this made the shower unuasable.
Further Comments: Although overall the accn was good, there was an incident which personally annoyed me. Whilst in the Restaurant ordering an evening meal for my wife and myself, the waiter (male) was heard by me to refer to my wife as 'SHE', this I found to be un-professional. A complaint was going to be made about this at the time but I was persueded by my wife not to say anything. I do appreciate that all people get frustrated at times, but staff must remember to keep comments such as this for when they are out of customers hearing.

Good Points: Bar meals were of good quality and value. Staff generally very helpful and pleasant. Good breakfast in the restaurant
Bad Points: We arrived on a January day to fing that there had been no heating on in our room. It was not centrally heated, and the main heater would not work. The room was generally dingy, albeit with a sea view. We were then shown to another room which was warm enough when the heating cam on at 3pm. This room was of a better standard than the first one but still it was tired looking and had a weird smell about it. The bathroom/toilet had no ventilation exept for opening the window which is not much fun when facing a strong south westerly. The shower which was over the bath was not powerful had a wrap around plastic curtain. The non-slip surface of the bath was worn and dirty looking. The whole room was in need of a complete refurbishment.
Further Comments: I would like to have known that this was a tired, old hotel that needed a lot of work doing on it, but it had a good restaurant, and bar, staffed by helpful people. Then I could have looked at the price of ￂﾣ65 per room per night, and thought, No, I can do better than that.

Bad Points: television needs updating could not use the handset and most places have sky facilities.Had difficulty in obtaining more tea/sugar/milk.
Further Comments: It was adequate for one night. Decor needs updating. No heating in room when it was the end of October.A little warmth would have been welcome.

Bad Points: HAVING TO SIGN SO MANY TICKETS TO CHARGE OUR ROOM WAS A WASTE OF STAFF TIME AND STATIONARY

Good Points: fair value for money. good location.
Bad Points: try being a bit more honest with your phrase's regarding the accommodation, ie the rooms are adequate.
Further Comments: Travel directions poor, needs greater explaination of actual location. Bar person needs an injection of carisma, also suggest he check the taste of the cider barrel more often!.The carvery is good value for money ( 2-4-1 meals particularly for families with teenagers ) and the staff friendly.Reception staff helpful. Breakfast cooked meal poor,very bland.Selection of other breakfast items good. I would stay here again providing these comments were taken notice of!! and acted upon!!!! Overall 7/10

Bad Points: It was very dated. Bathroom needs a refurb the watr pressure for toliet and shower was very poor
Further Comments: The hotel offered what we wanted for a short break, limited services at the hotel so you do need to get out and about. The hotel looks and feels very dated and would benefit from a refurb if not then a simple refresh of paint. The food was excellent in both the bar and the restaurant, however trying to get a drink from the bar needs extreme patience!

Further Comments: this hotel was very freindly and the serve of food was ecellent,it was very quiet and would suit the elderly and familys.the only thing was the location you would need a car or use taxis due too its location.

Good Points: The staff were lovely.They went out of there way to be helpful,friendly and charming.The food was very good and excellant value for money. I have recommended the hotel to my friends and family.
Bad Points: The room needed updating >It was kept very clen and tidy and there was always plenty of tea ,coffee and biscuits,but the lighting was so bad I could not read at night.The area where we ate was quite smokey.
Further Comments: As above,but I would suggest that a hotel sign was placed at the junction of Beach Road as we took a long detour in the wrong direction.Overall a very happy stay,made by the lovely staff. We would certainly go back again.The setting ot the hotel is beaautiful.

Good Points: We liked the location of the hotel , i.e its proximity to the beach and that it was not corporate and had a friendly and local feel.
Bad Points: Some of the decoration needs renewing/updating.
Further Comments: We enjoyed our short stay. All the staff were pleasant and accommodating and helpful in providing local information. The food in particular was delicious and well-presented. Weston-super-Mare is not far away and other local amenities are easily accessible.
