Good Points: Friendly, efficient staff (with one exception)
Bad Points: Our evening meal on our 1st night(5/04/07)and the attitude of the Restaurant Supervisor.
Further Comments: Great location for the NEC. Apart from the above incident, the staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Especially in Reception, the bar and the morning Restaurant Supervisor.

Good Points: It was all an hotel should be when you have a break away.
Further Comments: There were only a couple of minor details I would pick-up on. 1. Location - not in a position where you could walk anywhere. 2. Free Shuttle - limited hours of service & destinations. These really are minor details, but ones that would finish off the otherwise excellent all-round location for a break.

Good Points: The accommodation was very good and fitted our purpose well.
Bad Points: The room would have benefited by having two chairs, also the air conditioning was very noisy, its use by other guests sounded through the ducting till early morning thus spoiling a needed good nights sleep.
Further Comments: On the whole we were very impressed with our stay especially the cleanliness and decor. The attentiveness of the dining room staff was very welcome, something not seen very often. The selection and quality of the food and wine was excellent

Good Points: The accommodation was very good and fitted our purpose well.

Good Points: The situation of the hotel was convenient for the station and NEC and the shuttle service was excellent. The hotel itself was satisfactory but nothing more.
Bad Points: We got allocated as smoking room which really did smell horrible, as a non smoker. They didn't have any alternative. The breakfast was only warm and I would have liked a pot of tea which you normally get in hotels rather than someone coming round with it as soon as you sat down as by the time you got your main breakfast, the tea was then cold as well as the breakfast. Also, our room was opposite the cleaners office and they carried on their casual chattering from 7am in the morning with no respect for anyone sleeping.
Further Comments: The hotel is conveniently situated for the NEC, airport and railway station and the staff were friendly. The shuttle service was excellent. I didn't seem able to book a twin room on the internet so booked a double but changed it on check in but she didn't mention that it was a smoking room and it smelt awful. When we tried to change, their was no alternative. Also the shower curtain smelt mouldy. But the stay in the hotel all in all was fine for a base, not a luxurious stay.

Good Points: everthing from the staff to the accomadation also the food
Further Comments: we stopped overnight not knowing where to go but the driver kept us right once in the hotel we were very pleasantly surprised with accomadation food& staff friendliness.we realy enjoyed our stay so much we would not hesitate to stay in the hotel again

Bad Points: I thought the rooms were tiny, not much room to move about, felt a bit uneasy with that.
Further Comments: Very clean hotel, rooms were extremly small but very comfortable. The price was a bit high for the quality of room we received, but the location was ideal as we had an early morning flight and was only 5 mins from the airport. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, evening meal was excellant.
