Good Points: It was located near the town of Shanklin and convenient for the beach
Bad Points: It was cramped, with very small beds, clean but very old bed linen and towels

Good Points: The cleanliness and breakfast
Further Comments: The rooms are more than adequate and extremely clean. A wonderful choice for breakfast which was cooked whilst we waited. Great location - just a short walk to the beach and shops in Shanklin. Will definitely stay here again.

Good Points: cleanliness
Bad Points: there was no room in our room for two people, you could not sit down(or both of you could not)and chill out with a cup of tea.
Further Comments: First and foremost I (we) would not return.The hotel food, cleanliness, freindliness you could ask no more.The rule no eating drinking in rooms, well ours you would have a problem getting anything to your mouth. Considering it was b/b then one is forced to eat out. The bar 8.30pm - 10.30pm depending on patronage also forced one to stay. We would return to the IOW but our first priority would be a hotel that offered evening meals and entertainment.

Good Points: The Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpfull. Also the English breakfast was excellent.

Further Comments: We were made to feel welcome and received good tips about places to see and where to go. The hotel was in a good location and was easy to find.

Good Points: Very central location, ease of finding and parking
Bad Points: Nothing to dislike
Further Comments: We were very satisfied with the accommodation. As a base for a short stay it was excellent, we could go off in the morning touring the island knowing that we could come back, drop off the car, and walk into town, where there was a great choice of eating places to suit all budgets. We would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Further Comments: We were very satisfied with the accommodation. As a base for a short stay it was excellent, we could go off in the morning touring the island knowing that we could come back, drop off the car, and walk into town, where there was a great choice of eating places to suit all budgets. Bad Points: The small slot for breakfast of 30 minutes. The bar was only open from 2030 to 2230 and corkage could be charged on any wine drank in your own room.
Further Comments: Overall it was a clean and well run hotel. Breakfast was ample and the room was all that one could ask for in terms of comfort and the opportunity to have a good nights sleep. The room was tastfully decorated and care had been taken to make the guests welcome with the tea and coffee making facility replenished each day.

Further Comments: Hotel is well situated, nicely decorated, has large roms with good hot showers ensuite and the owners are very friendly. The food is good too, although the breakfast times (8.30-9.00) may be a bit early for some. Take your own hair dryer though.
