Good Points: We had a room opening onto the Courtyard which proved to be very convenient, it was just like a bedsit. The accommodation was very good with everything you require to hand.
| Further Comments: We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and the room well provisioned. We liked the fact that we were totally independent of the main hotel and it just felt like a home from home but with backup support. We were staying for a Scout event. The weather, hotel and people all helped to make it an overall super weekend. We booked via the internet and the only thing I felt was missing was a little more information about the provision in the room i.e. hairdryer, iron etc,
which in fact we had, but were not aware of this before arrival. |

Good Points: Reasonable amount of space for the price; good bed size. Staff friendly and helpful.
Bad Points: Toilet Seat was loose and toilet roll holder was broken. Bedroom Window would not open, so no natural ventilation (I thought the room was stuffy). Room was noisy at times.
Further Comments: Ours was an expensive room - a suite - the most expensive in the hotel. Face flannels not provided. No hair conditioner. Tea-making provisions inadequate (we needed more milk) and it would have been better to have the kettle close by, not on the other wall. I would have expected that cups used during afternoon would be changed during the evening (as happens in other hotels).

Good Points: Quiet (not in the main hotel building - in the rear individual apartments). Good decorative condition, hot showers working well etc.
Further Comments: This is a good hotel experience - good value (but then we booked late at a considerable discount). Staff are particularly pleasant & helpful. Our room m was warm & comfortable and the breakfast good (though expensive at ᅡᆪ12 for a continental). Would certainly go again.

Good Points: Clean, bright and very comfortable - well apointed, the only item it lacked was hair drying facilities
Bad Points: Supplied bar meals but no restaurant facilities other than private dining for 10 persons or more, seemed a missed opportunity to us
Further Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at the Christopher, the web site description was accurate and we were pleasantly suprised how close it was to Windsor. The room was very comfortable indeed with a great bathroom, and a full size bath, which is not always the case. Staff were friendly and helpful and really did look after us.

Good Points: The Staff
Bad Points: The pipes rattled and woke us. you had to run the hot taps forever to get hot water. lights in the bathroom not working. this is not a boutique hotel.
Further Comments: the staff were a saving feature. the hotel is over priced. it does not currently meet the expectations of a boutique hotel.
