Good Points: good location
Bad Points: wifi did not work.

Good Points: Recently taken over and the new owners are friendly with good staff, they have made improvements to the bar and are upgrading the kitchen. The rooms are to a good standard and clean.
Bad Points: The hotel has a problem in the main house with old plumping, that is noisy and slow.
Further Comments: The stay was enjoyable and relaxing, if your staying for a weekend break ask for a court yard room until the plumbing is sorted out,

Good Points: location and homely atmosphere.
Bad Points: having to climb 2 flights of stairs especially with heavy shopping bags.
Further Comments: It would also be helpful to have a small fridge in the rooms as most other hotels provide these days. Perhaps some form of guest self laundry facilities.

Good Points: The room was comfortable, well appointed and quiet.
Bad Points: The windows allowing the intake of fresh air were small making it more difficult to cool the room down as there was no AC. The floor fan was helpful in moving air, but didn't cool the room.

Further Comments: We needed a place to rest for a day between two overnight flights in and out of Heathrow on our way back from a long trip. Eton was the perfect location for our stopover, since we could enjoy long walks through the town, along the Thames, and across to Windsor. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, settling us into a clean room quickly even though we arrived well before the normal check-in time. The room was very fresh and welcoming. Some of the hallway carpets were being replaced which is necessary. Next time we will ask the hotel to book a local taxi to meet us at Heathrow(only 17 pounds) instead of relying on the official taxi stand - too expensive!

Good Points: Location was good
Bad Points: Damp and smell in one of the 3 booked rooms

Good Points: The hotel is well coated with a car park (in an area where parking is very much at a premium). We were arriving from the US early in the morning and the staff were very accommodating in making sure that our room was ready by 10am so that we could have a nap. Our room was on the 2d floor, the hall was narrow and there was no elevator - difficult with substantial suitcases, but other rooms are on the first floor or along the car park. The staff were also very kind to offer us a (free!) cup of tea. We visit the area fairly frequently and would definitely stay there again.

Further Comments: If the Shower was fixed, this would a great place to stay, although i think Breakfast could be chucked in for the price

Good Points: Nothing - actually the location was good for the restaurant I wanted to go to.
Bad Points: The room was dirty, carpets were disgusting, shower was very cramped, the shower itself didn't work properly - the water barely trickled out it was so slow. The room was very noisy - you could hear people next door taking a shower and floor creaked like it was about to give way. The bed also looked and felt like it was well overdue for a replacement.
