Good Points: The evening meal was good value and well cooked.
Bad Points: Cooked breakfast arrived 1 minute after order and was tepid. Ingredients very poor. The bedroom decor was old and the tv reception awful. The remote control did not work either, probably needed new batteries. The general appearance and condition of the hotel looked like nothing had been done to it since my previous visit 4 years ago. I will not be recommending it or returning.

Good Points: Good location for Historic Yarmouth, Shops and beach. Also easy to get out of Yarmouth for sight seeing further away. Loved the historic front of the hoteland the more modern rooms

Bad Points: The first room we were given was a little hole in the centre of the hotel with no room and no daylight. the second room was in need of repair generally, the TV only just worked!! .Ihad to get reception to supply a hairdyer that should have been in the room. The shower had no pressure behind it..

Further Comments: The receptionist was extremely helpful and checked me in quickly with all the information I needed. Bar food was very good. Breakfast was fair in range, and excellent in quality. Servie excellent throughout. I will definitely stay again when I am in Great Yarmouth

Bad Points: Bedroom too small, too hot, too noisy and bed uncomfortable. Tv remote not working, no satalite or trouser press as advertised. Wall lamps too low, lift needs updating with self closing doors. corridors and entrance lobby could do with cleaning and updating,
Further Comments: The car park is around the back of the hotel and has very limited spaces. The hotel staff were cheerful and as helpful as their resources and language barriers allowed them to be, the service they gave was great. The rooms in the extention of the building are very small rooms with very limited natural light. The hotel could do with some repairs to ceiling decoration and some updating.

Further Comments: We found all staff to be extremely friendly and helpful, and felt that all information we required was provided. A lovely hotel which we would come back to.

Good Points: Location, close to work site
Bad Points: Room, room door having to slam to close properly no dout annoying other guests, toilet door the same but could not close at all,
Further Comments: Night porter giving me very rude lecture on which buzzer to press to gain access to hotel, I may add this was only 11pm after returning from dinner elsewhere, previous evening meal steak was not as described on menu and of poor qaulity complained to chef and was offered free desert would have much preffered good quality steak and a reduction in the bill.

Bad Points: Everything. For a rated 3 star i would suggest that AA review this hotel as soon as possible. I would class this only as a bed and breakfast. I have never stayed in a 3 star hotel and been this disappointed. 0/10 for customer satisfaction.
Further Comments: This hotel needs to completely review its operation as a commercial 3 star hotel.The hotel needs severe redecoration asap, new carpets and revamping.. Never been to a hotel like it.Rooms are smelly and dingy ,very old fashioned. Whole feeling of place is very poor indeed.Most unsuitable for families with children. Sorry but this is my experience of this hotel.
