Good Points: Everything about this hotel is lovely. I can't wait to go back and although I was there for business I would go back for pleasure. The staff were very helpful and would go out of their way to help. A very pleasant stay. Thank you!
Further Comments: A lovely hotel with helpful staff in a gorgeous setting. Would recommend and will re-visit!

Good Points: The wonderful kingsize sleighbed. Such a luxury in GB! Also the staff was most accomodating and pleasant.
Bad Points: Nothing at all to dislike - everything was wonderful!
Further Comments: Had we known how great the accomodations were, we would have spent the majority of our time in the Cotswolds region at the Feathers and just made day trips from Woodstock!

Good Points: My daughers and I liked the traditional aspect to the hotel, the decore, the atmostphere and the pleasant staff, always willing to help with any enquiry.
Further Comments: As stated above, we enjoyed the decor, the traditional feel of the hotel and the calm atmostphere that permeated throughout the building and garden. We all appreciated the absence of air-conditioning thus enabling us to sleep with the windows open! One of my daughters and myself took advantage of your beauty salon and were very satisfied with the results. We left the hotel and Woodstock feeling as if we had spent more than one night in your care!

Good Points: Pretty, cosy, rooms. Overall feel of the hotel.
Bad Points: Restaurant service. Bathroom 'tired'.
Further Comments: The restaurant food was good, but not good enough to reflect the price, and exacerbated by the extremely slow service. Our table was booked for 8pm and by 9pm we'd only had our starter. Further, I asked for a glass of wine to accompany dinner and, when it hadn't arrived 10 minutes later, we repeated our request by which time we'd eaten our meal (which would have gone cold had we waited). Our plates were taken away in stoney silence - making us feel slightly awkward. I would usually expect to be asked if we'd enjoyed the meal. Surely not too much to ask when spending over ᅡᆪ100 on a meal for two?

Good Points: Nice shower in our room. Meals very tasty but pretentious, ridiculously small portions, over-priced (particularly the wine).
Bad Points: Posh TVT screen TV in our room, but only four channels available. Main problem was heat, see below.
Further Comments: I hope we were not given room 24 because we booked on-line. This room is unbearably hot, because of a heating pipe running round the room which is always hot, and cannot be adjusted or turned off. There is no ventilation to the room (or the bathroom) other than the window. We had to have the window open all night and be kept awake by the noise of the traffic etc.

Good Points: A comfortable, clean room supported by excellent staff.
Bad Points: None excellent value.
Further Comments: The only information I would have liked was the number of stairs to our room.Due to arthritis we both found this a difficulty,it would influence a future booking.Everything else about our stay was faultless.
