Good Points: It was away from the main centre but easy enough to walk to
Bad Points: Nothing. I booked this as a surprise for my husband. I also arranged to his siter and husband to stay and we were all totally satisfied with our stay - thankyou

Further Comments: Small and efficient hotel with friendly and attentive service. Room provided everything I was looking for and was clean and neat. Evening meals available in restaurant or bar at reasonable price. Menu had variety and flexibility was willingly provided. Bar was a warm and friendly place to sit and read, and the fire was a real draw!

Good Points: location and friendly environment
Bad Points: very little except that the bar menu (I ordered for my room) was a little disappointing not for the choice but it was only warm not hot.
Further Comments: Had there not been a function that night where the restaurant was full I would have dined in the restaurant and most likely enjoyed my meal much more than I did.

Good Points: The hotel was secluded and quite. The staff were efficient and friendly and the food was excellent.
Bad Points: The parking was limited and could have been better organised.

Good Points: This is a very user friendly hotel.The staff/owners? are very friendly and helpful.The breakfast was excellent.The bar serves some fine real ales and we were fortunate enough to see a real live band!Pity we could only stay one night!

Good Points: Very pleasant room and helpful staff. I was able to get breakfast (not cooked) at 6.30am.

Further Comments: On realising that we were staying with a baby, the hotel contacted me suggesting a change of room as there was a Christmas Party being held that weekend. The room allocated to us was perfect. The staff were very friendly and ensured that all was well for us! It my experience not many hotels give such thought to the welfare of their guests.

Further Comments: On realising that we were staying with a baby, the hotel contacted me suggesting a change of room as there was a Christmas Party being held that weekend. The room allocated to us was perfect. The staff were very friendly and ensured that all was well for us! It my experience not many hotels give such thought to the welfare of their guests.

Good Points: Peaceful situation, well furnished and spacious bedroom (Superior twin). Room radio (so rare - why?)

Good Points: Pleasant staff, nice food but i would prefer a dedicated coffee pot at breakfast rather than being served from the communal pot.
Bad Points: When i arrived i asked about the wifi connection and mentioned that last time i'd stayed i was given a discount. I was told that the owner wasn't available but that she would talk to him when he was and get back to me. It never happened. In a service business, that is unforgivable.
Further Comments: Above average but my opinions are clouded by what i mentioned before and in such a competitive marketplace it would encourage me to look elsewhere next time.

Good Points: Nice breakfast room
Bad Points: location didnt match description,found room dark and closterphopic. i think the acres of garden and views have turned to brick walls as it is situated i would say in the middle of town.

Good Points: Excellent bar meals and breakdfast menu. Effecient & friendly service.
Further Comments: Although a bit pricey and the decor being a little fraid around the edges, we had an enjoyable stay. The service was excellent - any requirements we had being resolved in a friendly and helpful way. The location is good, being fairly central and in a nice, quiet area area.

Bad Points: Noise transmission from other rooms, poor quality bed, inadequate shower. Cheap and nasty sausages for breakfast.
Further Comments: The accommodation had its shortcomings but overal offered reasonable value and was quite satisfactory.
