Good Points: tres jolie chambre tres bien decoree. Petit dejeuner continental en chambre. Cles de l'hotel donc pas de passage obligatoire a la reception.
Bad Points: Hotel en plein travaux, mauvaise personnel (pas d'informations concernant les horaires et les formalites du petit dejeuner, aucune communication)
Further Comments: Chambre tres agreable, l'impression d'etre comme a la maison , mais personnel trop absent et pas du tout vigoureux quant a la qualite de leur service.

Good Points: Excellent attention by staff, clean room, very comfortable bed, all facilities provided. Will certainly use the hotel in the future.
Further Comments: A very friendly and attentive staff, providing clean and comfortable accommodation. Although there were building works in progress, this in no way interfered with the running of the hotel or comfort of my stay. I will certainly use the Alanda in the future. Out of a star rating for a small family run hotel - ****!

Good Points: Well located and friendly atmosphere. Good breakfast. Pleasant water view from balcony.
Bad Points: Room a bit shabby. Shower extremely small. I couldn't get the heating to work. Bed cover stained. Water view side on from balcony only.
Further Comments: I stayed in the four poster water view room with balcony. Generally the room was a bit shabby although overall it was clean. Although I might stay at this hotel again I probably would not pay the higher rate for a water view again as the view could only be seen by climbing out of the window and sitting on the small balcony. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

Good Points: exactly what it said, great location, only a couple of mins walk from the seafront/pier, friendly and helpful staff
Further Comments: Brilliant trip overall. hotel in great location. Easy access to the seafront and a short walk (5 mins) from the town centre and the royal pavillion. Excellent day and night life. Definately go back.

Good Points: It was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Bad Points: Too many stairs and shower difficult to operate.
Further Comments: Good choice, pleasant staff although had little contact with them. Room was lovely, comfortable and clean.

Good Points: Everything! The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows and duvet were lovely! The television was good too.
Bad Points: Nothing.
Further Comments: Everything was of good quality and the staff were friendly. The bedroom was cosy and well decorated.

Further Comments: I found the hotel to be pleasant albeit a bit small - the room at least. It is located in a nice part of town, convenient to many amenties as well as the coast.

Good Points: The bedroom was pleasantly decorated and clean.
Bad Points: The reception area, the stairwell and the sitting room had all seen better days - a liitle tired looking and slightly grubby. The breakfast did not live up to its reputation and I found a hair in my scambled eggs which didn't do anything for my appetite! The shower was disappointingly dribbly.
Further Comments: The hotel was central and provided easy access to Brighton's main attractions. However I do think it was over priced for the general quality of the hotel. On my next visit to Brighton, I would probably book elsewhere.
