Good Points: Friendly host, convenient location, Tea/coffee in room.
Bad Points: Bathroom a little small but adequate. Dining room a bit dull, could do with brightening up.
Further Comments: Whether there was a bath as well as shower.

Good Points: It's location. A short walk from the sea front and The Lanes
Bad Points: That money was spent on things I don't want, such as a mini-bar, big flat TV and inefficient lights that got left on during the day. I was also concerned about safety, especially given the scalding I got in the shower trying to adjust the shower head spray, to find that they had fitted a shower head that stops the flow in some positions, thus super-heating the water in an electric shower. I kept switching the TV and set top box off at the wall to find that it had been switched back on each time the room got cleaned. In general, I thought that the price I paid was far too high for the location and standard.

Good Points: The staff were very friendly and the accomodation well kept.
Bad Points: We did not appreciate a telephone right outside our door.
Further Comments: The staff were very friendly and the accomodation well kept.We did not appreciate a telephone right outside our door, so if you stay make sure it is not in the room on the ground floor next to the dinning room. Parking as with most cities is at a premium, the hotel can supply a 24hr parking ticket for ￂﾣ6, if you can find a place that is!

Further Comments: Lovely room, good service and amazingly reasonable mini-bar! Very clean, nicely decorated and reasonably located. We would definately stay at the Westbourne again.

Good Points: I liked that it was peaceful. Staff were not too much...available when needed but kept a polite distance.
Bad Points: There was nothing i disliked about this hotel.
Further Comments: This hotel was very very clean. The room was very comfortable with everything i needed for my restful weekend break. Plasma tv, clock radio, tea and coffee making facilities, a well stocked mini fridge, clean towells, complimentary soap and shower gel!! What more could one ask for? I arrived at around 7pm on Friday evening checked in,Shown to my room and left to get on with it..perfect!! I stayed for three nights , my bed was exceptionally comfortable and my room was very peaceful..on occaision other guests banged the front door, that was the only disturbance i encountered. Staff were very friendly and helpful taking time to direct me around town i had a great suana and pedicure And some very good food to eat. The location of the hotel is excellent...two minutes away from St James Street with a wide selection of restaurants, wine bars, pubs and eateries. And five minutes away from the sea front. The main shopping area and famous 'Lanes' was fifteen minutes walk away, buses run regularly along Upper Rock Gardens and taxis are familiar with the hotel and are prompt and fairly priced. I booked this hotel before reading reviews, i need not have worried i would definately stay here again Thanks very much to all staff for a most pleasant stay.

Further Comments: I would have preferred a smoking room but they did say they couldn't guarantee that so no complaints at all.
