Quality Hotel Heathrow near Watford: Watford Hotels

Good Points: Location
Bad Points: Excessively hot throughout hotel. There were a couple of days where the temperatures in London were high, but even on those days where it was 15C or a little bit higher, the upper levels of the hotel and my room were like a sauna. The hotel could provide no explanation for this, but noted if I paid an extra ￂﾣ20, I could move to a room with air conditioning. I would not expect to need air conditioning in England, having lived here for over 2 years and think it unreasonable that the hotel was excessively hot. I could barely sleep due to the heat and would often wake-up throughout the night as a result. The warmth of the hotel is immediately apparent on entering the 3rd floor, so I suggest that someone go up there and try it before booking the hotel. In addition, the movie and internet functionality of the TV did not work. Disappointing and meant lost revenues for the hotel as there is very little to do around the immediate location of the hotel.
Further Comments: The rooms were disappointing. I also preferred going to the petrol station across the street for food as the food in the hotel was lacklustre and not worth the price.

Good Points: Shuttle service to and from airport, close to local bus transportation.
Bad Points: No air-condition in the room
Further Comments: It was adequate for our purpose and price, staff was friendly and helpful.

Good Points: The Hotel is in a convenient position for our travelling purposes, the rooms are clean and the staff friendly.
Bad Points: The Hotel was full so breakfast was busy and there was a delay in replacing certain items of food for us this was the bread and bacon.

Good Points: Room waa fresh.
Further Comments: Fire alarm in room covered by wet toilet paper. Housekeeping didn't spot this. Duty manager rectified it. Restaurant menu very misleading. Their idea of a meal with salad, is 1/4 of a lettuce leaf and a cherry tomato on a cocktail stick. Restaurant manager didn't care, just decided that I was wrong to complain. Several other diners had the same concern so I was not alone. Bedroom was dusty and towels were hard. Toilet paper was like sandpaper. Overall......very diasappointed for the price I paid. (oh and ￃﾂￂﾣ9.95 for a breakfast is unacceptable).

Good Points: Good Location. Very Clean + Staff were friendly. Food was good
Bad Points: Very noisey. Had a poor nights sleep.

Further Comments: Would have liked some advice about times of Hoppa buses from Heathrow especially in the late evening. This was our first visit to Quality Hotel as our friend is no longer able to accommodate us, and we found it to be most convenient. Next time we visit we will probably stay a little bit longer.

This was our first visit to Quality Hotel as our friend is no longer able to accommodate us, and we found it to be most convenient. Next time we visit we will probably stay a little bit longer.

Good Points: Room was pleasant, hotel staff were very good
Bad Points: The Room was not cleaned to a suitable standard. There were cob webs on the ceiling and bugs attached, and the floor was dirty in patches, with a hanger left on the floor from previous tenant.

Bad Points: Shower curtain / mouldy, shower rail, rusty. Not good disabled / traveller with bags, access.
Further Comments: Proximity to the flight path. I would have requested a quiet room

Further Comments: Very spacious, comfortable, clean rooms and bathroom. Front desk staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Service was slow in lounge night of arrival, but this was not the case the next morning at breakfast.

Good Points: Everything was fine.
Bad Points: The price for the food and the staff on the restaurant. PS: the kids breakfast is too expensive, but the rest was good.

Further Comments: Heathrow Hotels are general very expensive and Quality Hotel offers a lower cost option for an overnight stay at the airport. restaurant was good value and food was well served. Will stay there again.

Further Comments: The only down side was the bar did not stay open late - in other hotels I have stayed in recently the bar stayed open as long as the guests wanted to drink (not in a roudy way)but this woulsd be my only criticism and I would use the facility again
