Good Points: The breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Room was clean and comfortable, adequate car parking.
Bad Points: Shower in the ensuite was weak. The room was at the top of the hotel and would be very hot and stuffy in warm weather. Could not see any fire exit apart from main stairs.
Further Comments: Our stay was good and we would rebook if that way again. The staff were helpful and breakfast was excellant with plenty of alternatives to the full english. The whole hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable but the shower was weak and I was a little concerned regarding fire exits being on the top floor.

Good Points: Cheapish. Not too far from the centre and beach. Owners were friendly and helpful.
Bad Points: Showerhead was broken. Room rather overcrowded. Needed modernisation and redecoration.
Further Comments: The hotel was ok but rather shabby and old-fashioned. We had to mend the showerhead with a zip-tie. The owners were friendly and helpful, which was very pleasing, but overall it felt like most of Scarborough: a bit downmarket and in need of a revamp. It was cheap by Scarborough standards but for the price the accommodation is far better elsewhere.

Good Points: A very large room, very well furnished with tea making facilities and a 4 poster bed
Further Comments: I was expecting a boarding-house type of experience but was pleasently surprised by the standard of accommodation. The room was excellent as was the breakfast

Good Points: clean, good location, very good value for money, friendly staff
Further Comments: A very good hotel in an excellent location close to all attractions. Very good value for money and friendly staff who allowed us to leave our car in the hotel car park after we had checked out saving us having to pay parking charges in Scarborough. Bed was softer than I would have liked but breakfast was excellent. Overall, a very enjoyable overnight stay.

Good Points: Convenient for sea. Good Parking. Excellent breakfast.
Bad Points: Only one bedroom on ground floor. Stairs were a problem for disabled people.
Further Comments: Overall, our holiday was very good. The hoteliers were courteous, helpful and ready to meet any requests.

Further Comments: Excellent standard of cleanliness, customer care, and choice of food. Any queries we had were answered immediatley. We will definately we staying at this hotel in future trips to Scarborough.

Good Points: Very welcoming staff, excellent breakfast, good en-suite facilities
Bad Points: Slight musty smell in reception, quite dusty in room, pillows not very comfortable
Further Comments: Overall, very favourable, small negatives easily put right. We would use this hotel again

Good Points: Cleanliness and good facilities, good comments in visitors book from previous visitors, lovely breakfast, friendly/helpful staff
Bad Points: Just slightly of the beaten track and room just a bit too full of furniture!
Further Comments: Overall my stay was very pleasant and the accomodation was much smarter and tidier inside than first appearence on the outside.

I knew most of what to expect due to the specific website, this is the reason why I originally booked it, hence I wasn't dissapointed.

Bad Points: 'Power' shower too weak. Default minimum volume control on TV too loud
Further Comments: Accurate description of venue's location. Likewise accommodation itself, although the Hotel's parking arrangements when full may well need a review.
