Good Points: I felt it was very clean
Further Comments: Unfortuneately I did not know the area & was unsure where to go to visit if i had been there longer I would have gone on one of the guided bus tours.I also did not receive the hotel booklet in my room until the second day. I would have liked to have received this in my room when i got there. I also found it frustrating that the bar was closed at 10.00pm as i would have liked to have sat in the bar rather than go next door to the pub. Other than that i found my stay very enjoyable.

Good Points: The Accommodation was excellent! There are not many places you can get a family room for 5-6 adults and at a very reasonable price!
Bad Points: The shower was a bit diffucult to turn off but we managed between us!
Further Comments: I booked for 5 female adults as we were celebrating 3 birthdays and were going shopping and then for a night out. The room had a double and 3 single beds. The staff had actually put an extra single bed in for our convenience which was very thoughtful and even then there was still plenty of room! The breakfast was very nice and plenty of choice available. If I was coming to Glasgow for a girls night out again I would certainly book with the Argyll Hotel.

Good Points: Warm and cosy, very friendly staff.

Further Comments: Easy to recommend this hotel. Old fashioned comfort and warm and welcoming.

Good Points: we were a group of five women away for a shoping trip , we had one very large family room and i requested 5 beds and we got them with plently space all round.
Further Comments: The staff was very atentive,esp the waiting staff at breakfast, we were all very impressed by them. excellent selection of food for breakfast, and we had a fantastic very large family room which was great for five women and we each had our own bed and shared the facilites with loads of room. Was very pleased with the accomidation.

Further Comments: a very pleasant stay, friendly and helpful staff. would like to have known that one of the rooms we had booked was different in that the en suite was smaller and had no bath.

Good Points: Friendly helpful staff
Bad Points: Needs updated, furnishings worn, bathroom fittings out dated, not matching. Couldn't plug my phone charger in as there wasn't enough space between the shelf and plug socket. I stayed three days onmy own, I should have been contactable for work and I had no phone at the end of my stay.

Bad Points: Room was very small, cheaply furnished. Everything about the hotel felt 'budget' from the furnishings to the food.

Further Comments: My stay as always was very good, however I was disapointed with the receptionist's attitude when leaving. It would not hurt to smile, and thanks for my custom and safe journey. This spoiled an excellent stay, but this incident will not put me off coming back. Yours David Singleton.
