Good Points: the spa bath
Bad Points: tatty bathroom with mould along side the bath and shower curtin. bedding was thin and tired looking balcony was tatty chairs need replacing shower was not very powerful and caused a large puddle on the floor tv was not very loud and could not ajust the volume!!!! food in the morning was poor sausage was horrid very cheap glasses were to small for juice room was way to stuffy to eat

Bad Points: The tea and coffee are in vaccuum jugs - not good - there must be a better way!
Further Comments: I really like the atmosphere in the hotel. There is a late night bar and you can watch the world go by.

Further Comments: old & tatty, mattress not good quality could feel the springs, blankets not duvets - very dated and cold in this weather. mould around the seal of the bath. Heating in room not working properly so a cold night. Breakfast not a great standard - cheap sausages. Table was dirty and no one was available to clean it.

Good Points: Hotel in general and room in specific were beautifully decorated and well kept. The room was large and everything we could have wanted was provided.
Bad Points: Nothing.
Further Comments: I have no complaints about my stay at the Royal Albion. The hotel was briliantly located (opposite the main pier and ten minutes walk from the Brighton Centre) and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was large and provided us with all the amenities we could need. The buffet breakfast offered a good selection of foods and was served until a decent hour meaning we didn't have to get up too early just to eat, and the check-out time of 11am was helpful too as it wasn't too early. The hotel also honoured our request for a non smoking room and for an early check in, with no extra charge.

Further Comments: hotel is in a lovely location & this was its main feature for us. because of the age of the building, wear & tear was quite evident. however, the location to the sea & the lanes overrode these factors.

Bad Points: Old, Tired rooms. Noise from other rooms travelled easily through creaking floor boards nd thin walls
Further Comments: Would have liked to have known there was a Christmas Party booked that was to go on to the small hours with our room being practically above the disco, or so it seemed!
