Good Points: I liked the size of the room, staff were very friendly and helpfull
Bad Points: The hotel could do with a facelift the paint work was slightly grubby
Further Comments: I would have liked to have known what car parks are close by and how to get to the closest one as the hotel does not have parking it is quite hard to find the closest parking because of the oneway streets.

Good Points: Spacious bedroom; Club Lounge
Bad Points: Noise; Noise; Noise - there is a NEED for triple glazing Extraneous Light - the curtains did not close properly
Further Comments: More effort required, particularly in House Keeping. The carpet could serve as a garden. Room 314

Bad Points: Heating in room was inneficient and was incapable of heating the room to a reasonable temperature. Having booked a double room it was dissapointing to find the double bed was in fact made up of two singles pushed together!

Good Points: The quality of the room was very good
Bad Points: twice before we left the room the cleaners came in.

Good Points: Good clean room and bathroom. As a smoker, I appreciated that the bedroom window opened wider than the usual tiny crack!
Bad Points: Receptionist did not seem aware that we had booked 2 smoking rooms.
Further Comments: Good - initial confusion over smoking rooms but was soon sorted out efficiently.

Good Points: The room was of adequate size, modern decor and furnishings, clean functional bathroom
Bad Points: Our first room was dark due to it's situation in the hotel, the window exposed a roof top with noisy air vents and the announcement system from the railway station could be heard faintly from outside. However when we asked to move there was no problem and our next room was ok
Further Comments: We loved just relaxing with a drink and watching the world go by, everyone passes through George Square!

Good Points: very convenient for customers arriving by rail,adjacent to Queen street station, with free shuttle bus to/from central station to Queen street
Bad Points: the price of breakfast ￂﾣ15 a bit steep although they did have an offer on for ￂﾣ10 but if you did not make breakfast you still paid. NO OTHER PROBLEMS

Good Points: Very clean and comfortable - also great shower
Bad Points: The outlook over the roof at back - but your are not really in your room all the time
Further Comments: Thoroughly enjoyed it - was staying to see my daughter who is university - and being able to leave my case in the morning so I could go shopping before I got the train was great - will certainly be back - excellent service and very helpfull staff at reception. Thankyou

Good Points: clean welcoming with lovely view of george square
Bad Points: although weather was warm- felt a draught coming in window even through heavy curtains- this would discourage me from booking in winter.
Further Comments: claire cameron was extremely helpful at check-in. the 20pounds food and drinks voucher was a great idea- told all my friends and family thoroughly enjoyable stay

Further Comments: My only criticism is that the scone I had in the afternoon was probably the worst I have ever had! Apart from that, getting a quality city centre hotel for the price we paid was very good value. It was a very pleasant experience that we will definitely do again.

Bad Points: Hotel had been very busy and the room wasn,t ready although it was after two. It would have been nice to have our key so that we could have waited in the club room and had a coffee.
Further Comments: In general a very satisfactory stay at a very good price. I would and already have recomended the club room deal to friends.
