Queens Hotel (And Lanes Leisure Club) near Brighton: Brighton Hotels

Good Points: We love this hotel, thats why we stay in it every time we visit Brighton
Further Comments: Check in is so quick and easy, always very happy plesant staff.The room are modern but in keeping with the traditional victorian style. we love this hotel, just wish it wasn't so expensive at weekends!!!

Bad Points: Dirty window, bathroom poor decoration
Further Comments: Noise level from street stopped you having any sleep only single glazed sash window rattled all night with the wind. the noise from the sea front from drunks shouting and general noise associating with people emptying out of clubs and pubs. Cleanliness not up to standard needs decorating.

Good Points: stayed in tower suite - view fantastic. Room larger than usual. Bed very large and comfy.
Bad Points: Quite over priced. Room nice but not fantastic. Bathroom large but basic. No iron had to ask reception for one.
Further Comments: Had a lovely stay just was expecting the room (especially bathroom) to be better for the money we paid. Although views were outstanding!!! Location great and staff were very helpful too.

Good Points: The accommodation was very fresh looking and modern the entrance was lovely,very warm and welcoming with the beautifull christmas trees. My room was bright and clean and had everything I should need.
Bad Points: The view from the window was very depressing. The room was very large but that also meant very cold the small radiator wasn't powerfull enoughfor the size of the room. I felt the layout of the dressing table,tv,lamp etc could have been better. The pictures also vould have been more interesting, very dull.
Further Comments: All in all a very nice hotel and I experienced a good time there. My only upset was to find out on arrival that the lanes leisure facilities were shut due to refurbishment which was very annoying as that was one of the reasons I chose the hotel.

Good Points: Location to amenities - size of room
Bad Points: Room wasn't ready when we arrived, had to wait over an hour. Breakfast buffet - very poor - by 9am they had run out of basics, even though it ran until 11am. Space available for breakfast too small, had to wait for a table.

Good Points: Great value for money, spacious clean room, large bathroom, everything you need
Further Comments: The staff were very friendly and polite, the room was beautiful with a great view. The bar was very stylish with friendly staff and great cocktails. The breakfast had a great selection and was delicious. The location of the hotel is fantastic, short walk from The Lanes, pier, Brighton dome/pavilion etc. Would love to come back and stay again.

Good Points: Cosy bed. Nice breakfast

Further Comments: Overall a pleasant experience although I had trouble sleeping because there was anightclub nearby. Room was clean and plenty of choice for a hot drink. A minibar would have been welcome. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Ideal location for the Brighton Centre and town facilities

Good Points: The staff were very helpful, the room was very large. The food was really nice
Bad Points: The only thing was the noise outside of the hotel, we were woken at 6am when a woman was shouting because she was being arrested.
Further Comments: Really pleased with the hotel and would stay there again.

Bad Points: Room 212 was very noisy into the early hours, because of a night club in the street below.There was water leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom from the light fitting.
Further Comments: We have stayed in the Queens Hotel many times and are very happy there. The leisure club is a great bonus and we always enjoy several swims while we are there.The breakfasts are very good and the staff are always very friendly. We have recommended the Hotel on many occasions and look forward to staying there again on our next visit to Brighton.

Bad Points: could have done with better lighting and discreet AC as the windows could only open 10cm!

Good Points: Excellent accomodation for the price. Staff friendly and helpful.
