Good Points: The location was good.

Good Points: easy going atmosphere and attitude of staff, flexibility of options,location, quality of rooms, quality of breakfast on Sunday
Bad Points: noisy ventilator right beneath our window

Good Points: Check in, young man very helpful, same young man at breakfast in this day and age service given by him an his attitude to service,fantastic. It made our stay
Bad Points: Room smelt very strongly of smoke, TV not tuned in, and at breakfast, fried eggs overcooked.
Further Comments: Parking information would have been useful, as stated service by young man we had contact with was excellent. Smoke smell off putting, but room was nice and comfortable.

Good Points: Room was comforatble and the staff helpful and friendly
Bad Points: Some of the decor was tired and there were unrepaired patches where water had come through the ceiling. Sash-ropes were broken in the main sash window.
Further Comments: Room was comfortable and stay was fuss-free. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel decor needs freshening up.

Good Points: Pleasant room - fairly small but comfortable and well appointed.
Bad Points: Lack of parking. Noisy position.
Further Comments: Overall, a hotel which was perfect for our overnight stay. The room was well appointed and comfortable though a little tired in aspects of the decorative state. The sash window wouldn't shut properly which, given the Friday Night Noise outside, was frustrating. Excellent breakfast and very good restaurant food. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Parking is a problem. The nearest car park is a 5-10 minute walk away which could be a major problem for some.

Further Comments: I enjoyed my stay.But No drinking water provided in the room .I have satyed many hotels but this is the first hotel without a water Jug and a jug.Why?Do you feel this viital and essential.I feel that is the most important. After my travel in the car and the ferry about 5hrs and cheked in the hotel room I couldn't find any water in the room.Could you please see that drinking water is supplied in a jug to all the rooms.

Further Comments: the hotel was very conveniently located for the fast net ferry and the staff were welcoming. The bar was lively and the coffe shop good. The hotel looked a bit shabby and I feel it wass quite expensive for the quality.

Further Comments: This hotel has a very convenient location next door to the West Cowes ferry terminal, but this is also it's downside. There is a lot of traffic around the hotel, which makes it noisy in the rooms. It is a friendly place to stay but has a general air of shabbiness. Some maintenance and redecoration is well overdue.
