Good Points: The staff were all very welcoming and efficient.
Bad Points: The hotel decor was overall a little tired.
Further Comments: On arrival, booking in was friendly and swift. Our two requests of one room to be a twin bedded room for our teenagers, located near our room, were met. We handed car keys to the concierge for overnight parking at ￂﾣ16.00. We ate dinner at a local restaurant. On returning to hotel we had drinks in the hotel bar as a piano was played gently in the background. It felt very civilised. The drinks were a reasonable hotel price. At breakfast a very good range of food was offered. My husband managed to sample most of it, as he has hollow legs. Checking out was simple and we were invited to leave our car with the hotel to go out and enjoy the sunshine. Which we did! If you want an elegant hotel with good staff I recommend the De Vere Grand.

Further Comments: Ok, was the feedback, although it was felt not worth the price. The goup did not eat evening meal, as they were dining at the conference, but breakfast was ok. The other comment was tatty.

Good Points: Spacious, comfortable and the complimentary upgrade to a room with a sea view was an unexpected and much appreciated bonus
Bad Points: Supplies of tea/coffee products were insufficient for two people who enjoy their coffee and biscuits! One small bottle of shower gel for two people seemed a bit mean, too.
Further Comments: Thoroughly enjoyable and very comfortable. We were particularly impressed at the speed with which staff responded to requests for assistance and with the general friendliness and efficiency displayed by all staff.

Further Comments: From arrival to departure the staff were friendly and helpful. We set out for a relaxing few days away and were not disapointed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a break away from it all in a relaxing environment. The hotel location was perfect just 5 minutes walk to the Lanes - perfect for a spot of pure indulgence.

Good Points: We walked in atrctive aeria.
Bad Points: Bathroom shower handle wasn't fixed. Toilet handle is not good. A toilet not clear.

Good Points: The staff were very helpful and provided an excellent service.
Bad Points: When we arrived the room we were given was very small and had no air con, we rang reception and within minutes we were brought 2 fans. After a night in the room we were still not happy, so we went to see reception in the morning and they moved us into a beautiful room with air con....so we were very happy!
Further Comments: The hotel is under going a revamp next year and they are putting air con in every room, the service was brilliant, the staff were very helpful and polite and the breakfast was yummy! When booking make sure you request air con if you stay in the summer!
