Good Points: location
Bad Points: staff not helpfull at checkin, room not ready and we missed our meal because of it. we did not expect this of the hotel n brighton
Further Comments: if you want a friendly hotel with pleasant staff then this is not the hotel for you. rooms not ready at 3pm and no effort wasmade even though we were an hour early.

Good Points: The special rate and the feather and down duvet. The wide choice of food and the sea view at breakfast time.
Bad Points: Slightly tatty room, squeaky floor in room and hallway to the room
Further Comments: The room was adequate for a one night stay.

Good Points: The hotel was great with the facilities being excellent.
Bad Points: No car park, it cost ￃﾂￂﾣ25 per night to have the hotel park your car

Good Points: The grandeur of the hotel, size and comfort of room, sea view, friendly staff, generally very good service.
Bad Points: Expensive parking, not enough staff to provide a good breakfast service.

Good Points: Local to the Brighton Centre where I was working that evening,as stated above all staff were polite and very helpful

Good Points: the situation on the sea front at Brighton.
Bad Points: the welcome was not very good and room was not ready. The rooms do not have good drawer storage for clothes and personal belongings. Major refurbishment going on in a room 2 doors down from our room and therefore lots of noise, cables and ladders everywhere.
Further Comments: We had a few problems at the hotel which after complaining about them, the duty manager arranged for us to be moved to another room, which was nice . but the experience has left us feeling unsure if we will use the hotel again.

Good Points: Foyer flowers were delightful. All the staff pleasant and helpful
Bad Points: Smaller room with smaller bed and fan instead of air conditioning compared to last year, despite same deal being booked.

Good Points: The staff were all very welcoming and efficient.
Bad Points: The hotel decor was overall a little tired.
Further Comments: On arrival, booking in was friendly and swift. Our two requests of one room to be a twin bedded room for our teenagers, located near our room, were met. We handed car keys to the concierge for overnight parking at ￂﾣ16.00. We ate dinner at a local restaurant. On returning to hotel we had drinks in the hotel bar as a piano was played gently in the background. It felt very civilised. The drinks were a reasonable hotel price. At breakfast a very good range of food was offered. My husband managed to sample most of it, as he has hollow legs. Checking out was simple and we were invited to leave our car with the hotel to go out and enjoy the sunshine. Which we did! If you want an elegant hotel with good staff I recommend the De Vere Grand.
