Good Points: Room bright, sunny, airy, super views, spacious, private (felt quite separate from rest of hotel)
Bad Points: found facilities in room a little basic for οΎ£95/night. A bit bare minimum, possibly a little spartan/not cosy feel to the room
Further Comments: Staff very helpful indeed, food good, we had room service food one night

Good Points: Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable room.
Bad Points: The bedding was insufficient for the cold February weather! The double duvet barely reached from one side of the bed to the other and was not of a high enough tog. However when requested a second duvet was delivered to the room.
Further Comments: Apart from the bedding, we were delighted with our stay.

Good Points: Accommodation clean and comfortable
Further Comments: We were staying on Saturday and Sunday nights. We requested a quiet room when booking, but were disappointed this was not addressed, and we were placed on the second floor over the night-club area. We are a mature couple, and were unable to get to sleep on the Saturday night until 3.00 a.m. Although the night club was supposed to be closed on the Sunday night there was private function, and again no sleep until 2.00 a.m. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quiet, peaceful break over a week-end period and would not stay there again.

Good Points: Nice view of the ocean through a side window. Room well equipped and very clean.
Bad Points: None as far as we can see but only there a short time so didn't really do much except sleep and have breakfast.
Further Comments: Booked this hotel 'blind' over the internet needing somewhere to accommodate my husband and I and my son and three friends. We were travelling to Worthing for a particular event and the hotel was well located for our purpose - with the added bonus of being on the seafront. The receptionist was very helpful and after checking us in booked us taxis. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The night porter was great when we got in after 10pm when the door is locked, and was friendly to the lads after they went out again. They are all under 21 and too young to go in the hotel bar or nightclub but were treated well by the porter and the other lads working the late shift, who chatted to them and made them feel welcome. The rooms were excellent and two of our three rooms were upgraded to family rooms without us asking which was a bonus. The rooms were well equipped, modern and very clean. We had a lovely breakfast - nice mix of self service for your cereal/fruit/juices etc and waitress service for the rest of your meal. Lovely light

Good Points: Our final room was big and the bed was comfortable.
Bad Points: Someone in attendance at reception all the time. People will want an efficient, friendly service but not all the chat.
Further Comments: You should ensure the heating works in all bedrooms and bathrooms and that the temperature is adequate, ensuring all the blinds at the windows work properly.

Good Points: The room was really spacious and clean.
Further Comments: Wish I'd known that the first floor room which we booked would be quite noisy due to the staff cleaning dining room below very early in the morning which if I had known I would have picked the room on the next floor up as I was offered 2 to choose from. But if we go to this area again I would definately book this hotel again but make sure I was on a higher floor.

Good Points: Fantastic location, wonderful views, friendly staff and excellant food.
Bad Points: the quality of the beds
Further Comments: The Burlington is in an excellant location, close to the town centre but also in a relaxing environment right on the sea front . Parking is also easy with plenty of spaces and daily parking vouchers available from the hotel reception. The burlington offers a fantastic breafast experirence with nothing being too much trouble, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Good Points: Nothing
Bad Points: A lounge area where guests could sit if they did not require the stress of being in a live nightclub.
Further Comments: The volume of the noise. It may be advisable to let people over the age of 30 not to book for a week end as the holel receptionist pointed out that tourists do not usually use the hotel at weekends. The web site could make this plain. An unhappy very expensive night. It did provide a decent breakfast.

Good Points: Ideally situated, rooms very clean and decorated nicely
Further Comments: Room was fine, however, lack of easily accessible powerpoints a problem, two behind the wardrobe, hard to get at, only one by the desk, so if you wanted the lamp on, you had to unplug the kettle and vice-verse. One side of the double bed had a large dip in it, could dso with a new mattress, room no. 205.

Good Points: Good location, easy to find.
Bad Points: As a business guess one expects a certain level of comfort as you are working the next day and want to be as relaxed as if you had come from home.
Further Comments: The room was small but even worse the bathroom redfined the term tiny, one literally stepped out of the shower and bumped into wash basin. I could not close the bathroom door as there was not enough room when I stood at the basin. The breakfast was a full English, but the food was lukewarm tending towards cold. It had obviously been sitting in the kitchen on a hotplate which was not very efficient.

Good Points: modern design, sea view from restaurant
Bad Points: checkin procedure is unfriendly and bureaucratic, room cleaning is inadequate
Further Comments: My toilet was stained when I arrived, the shower was broken and the room was not cleaned, or wet towels removed, after my first night. The staff were in general helpful and friendly.

Good Points: Room was very light and airy, wonderful view of the seafront/promenade

Good Points: The room was spacious, the bar area and nightclub were excellent
Bad Points: Unfortunately the lift was not working and our room was on the top floor, a bit difficult to carry the cases.
Further Comments: On the whole it was excellent. Unfortunately I asked directions to the town, was given directions that took 40 minutes, when it was only a short walk away.

|
Good Points: I think it was well priced. It was just a night stay.
Bad Points: Whilst the details state the hotel has been recently refurbished. I don't think recently is the case. It is a little tatty round the edges.
Further Comments: Repating the above comment. The hotel requires some more decoration. I took advantage of the night club so it was not a problem. I could see however others, especially with a family or indeed of my age

Good Points: Clean
Bad Points: The window is an old sash window with a piece of paper holding it up. They should have supplied a proper wedge to hold the window open. It is dangerous as it is!
Further Comments: Lack of Parking needs to be better highleghted prior to stay. We arrived at a quiet time and would not have been impressed if the road had been busy. If you are aware that there is very limited space in the immediate vacinity you can arrange to unload and one person book in while the other finds a parking space.

Good Points: View....size of room...staff was very pleasant....all rooms were non smoking (except the bar)....
Bad Points: Repair the elevator as soon as possible...repair the balconies so one can use...bedding was horrible...parking not good...food questionable...needs air conditioning or at least ceiling fans...too noisey to leave windows open because of traffic....windows wouldn't stay open without propping open....
Further Comments: Had we known the fact that the elevator did not work, the fact that one couldn't even walk out on the balcony, the fact that there was no air circulation without opening the noisy windows was not good, the fact that the bed and bed covers were very bad...housekeeping did not put the bed linens on the beds properly..the corners of the mattress pads were not put on as fitted pads should have been causing big lumps under the sheets....because of the entire experience we would have considered other alternatives.
