Good Points: The car parking
Bad Points: It was not always cleaen and althoguh staff tried they needed soem customer care training - they all meant well but seemed to lack leadrship
Further Comments: It was adequate but i would nto choose to stay again

Good Points: Nice room
Bad Points: The bathroom wasn't as clean as we expected, there was mould/dirt around shower area.
Further Comments: Overall our stay was enjoyable. Would use this hotel again.

Good Points: I liked the Value, the friendly and efficient staff and the locality to the town centre
Bad Points: nothing, everything was perfect
Further Comments: We were very impressed with the standard of accommodation and the good value offered. The staff were lovely and next time we need to stay in newcastle we WILL book this hotel. Our choice of hotel made sure we really enjoyed our visit. i wouold not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Good Points: The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, though not large, and was good value for money.
Bad Points: The cold water taps in the bathroom and the Radio 3 signal on the tv did not work properly, both of which were minor irritations.
Further Comments: The hotel was very conveniently sited near the Metro station and the University. The room was comfortable and quiet. The buffet breakfast was quite good and the restaurant staff cheerfully attentive.

Further Comments: I think that they should show whether breakfast is included or not and the price of breakfast up front. I was not aware of the position until I paid.

Good Points: pleasant well equiped single room
Further Comments: Easy to find by car and close to Metro. Pleanty of car parking space. Staff friendly and helpful.

Good Points: The second room we had was good - recently decorated but very poor shower facility. Clean bedlinen Complimentary bottled water needed in the room as no air conditioning
Bad Points: Our room request was for disabled and the hotel lifts broke down 10 mins after our arrival so we had to change rooms to the Ground Floor which was fine but a very long way from a close family member who had the inconvenience of no lifts. There were no other rooms available. areas under the bed needed hoovering
Further Comments: Staff ranged fom very good in reception to poor in the restaurant - slow - no pace. The evening meal took over two hours and even then we went without dessert and coffee as we felt the wait was unnacceptable and complained to the Restaurant Manager as a result. Please note the chill cabinet containing yourts, fruits and fruit juices for breakfast was in fact very WARM and above room temperature. We refused as a family to eat foods from a refrigerator which was clearly not working. Hot plate grimy around chrome column bases - full of old and dirty grease.

Further Comments: booked this last minute online at a very good discounted price, was pleasantly surprised at the standard of accommodation . the hotel is in a good location with secure parking
