Good Points: Convenient for city transport links. Quick check in/check out. Good quality food and service.
Bad Points: Single room cramped by double bed. No instructions for alarm call/ radio.
Further Comments: Overall good value for money. Comfortable accomodation, apart from lack of space in room caused by oversized bed. Evening meal taken in restaurant was of good quality at a reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff give the hotel a welcoming feel.

Further Comments: It would have been good to receive a more detailed map of the area. Also information on closest places to eat out and local transport information

Bad Points: Room was noisy - was beside the rear kitchen entrance.
Further Comments: I had originally booked in for 6 nights, Tuesday thru Sunday. Due to a family emergency I had to cancel the Thursday and Friday nights and this was confirmed with them by my son, who lives close to the Hotel. It was also checked by me when I checked in on the Tuesday and out on the Thursday morning. On my return to the Hotel on the Saturday evening I found that the evening recptionist had cancelled my Saturday and Sunday nights. The manager who dealt with this seemed more intent on finding ways to blame me and my son for the mistake than trying to rectify things - at no stage did he even apologise for what they eventually admitted, via e-mail to me, was their evening receptionist's mistake. The Hotel, to give them some credit, have now offered a full refund of my charges for the Tuesday and Wednesday by way of an apology so at least they have taken steps to try to make things better.

Good Points: Full English Breakfast, gute Lage
Bad Points: Personal unterschiedlich freundlich, kein Lift (enge Treppe, schwierig mit Koffer)
Further Comments: Im Gro￟en und Ganzen zu empfehlen, Zimmer im Vergleich zum Preis nicht sehr komfortabel eingerichtet aber okay, da kein Lift vorhanden ist, sollte Koffer ins Zimmer gebracht werden, wenig Alternativen zu English Breakfast

Further Comments: overall a nice stay,but we felt there should have been a hair dryer in the room also more choice with tea making facilities i.e.biscuits and drinking water.

Good Points: It was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly.

Further Comments: The on-line booking was efficient and easy to follow. The hotel was comfortable and friendly. I would stay here again and have recommended it to other colleagues and friends.

Good Points: Friendly staff and first class breakfast; very convenient for leaving off student daughter in Jesmond.
Bad Points: Only on street parking; decor needs refreshing; no non-smoking accomodation.
Further Comments: The hotel is well located for visiting the West Jesmond area and the staff are friendly and served up a great breakfast. The initial impression created by a rather tired hall and stair carpet and a smokey atmosphere, was not good. However, the room was clean and had an en-suite, although overall it was not very roomy. Overall, it was quite adequate for the purpose - a couple of nights B&B to see daughter off to university.

Good Points: Hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly, always there to help. Location was great, and overall a hotel really worth staying in just for the atmosphere

Further Comments: My stay overall was great, it was only 3 nights but the hotel made it, was a little smaller room size than i thought but the cleanness and atmosphere was great, the staff were always friendly and nice. I was visiting my girlfriend in newcastle and on a evening he welcomed her and her friends into the lounge. This is what makes a stay worth while.

Further Comments: Overall a good hotel with a friendly atmosphere. The downside was the website stated the hotel was close to St James Park and the Quayside but it was quite a distance away
