Good Points: The locality of the hotel and the room was immaculate
Further Comments: The stay was pleasent and the hotel was great, could'nt have asked for anything more.

Good Points: we liked that we had the front bedroom and a four poster bed
Bad Points: didnt like that the bar was full of smokers and there was nowhere for non smokers to sit.the music was also very loud infiltrating to our room.
Further Comments: would have liked to have known that the street was full of trendy bars and young people in them,the noise was really loud.i think that the majority of young people in newcastle smoke.next time i would check out the hotel facilities more.

Further Comments: Friendly,helpful staff, clean comfortable room, hotel easy walk from W.Jesmond metro. Near to local shops and restaurants. V.good value for money.

Good Points: The area it was in and the size & cleanliness of the room was fine.
Bad Points: The TV did not work. The hotel was extremely noisy and the bar was closed when I returned at 11.15. The layout for serving of breakfast was inadequate for the number of people staying in the hotel and meant that people were standing in a queue for ages before they could have breakfast. Everyone had to queue for everything incluidng tea, coffee & toast.
Further Comments: I found the hotel to be only adequate. There were far too many things not satisfactory for the rates charged. THe staff were monosyllabilic The TV in the room did not work The rooms should have had sound-proofing, far too noisy during the early hours The system for breakfast was inadequate for the number of people staying in the hotel

Good Points: It was just what was needed no more no less
Bad Points: the shower was a little tempremental in the temperature department
Further Comments: The hotel was a little frayed around the edges with the decor and partially absent staff however it provided as I said everything I required.

Good Points: new bathroom suite. size of room.
Bad Points: room poorly decorated. tv picture very poor. toilet seat loose. cleaning not very though.
Further Comments: room was in front of hotel above bar. This made it very noisy until closing time. Parking at the rear of building was limited and we had to move our car a couple of times. Some staff, although pleasant, had problems understanding English.

Good Points: Good proximity to the metro system and friendly helpful staff. Pleased to see tea/coffee making facilities in the nicely positioned room. The breakfast was very nice in nice surroundings.
Bad Points: The bathroom let you down.
Further Comments: We would however still come back to this hotel as we feel that you do offer good value for money and it is very close to our daughter who is doing her final year in Newcastle

Further Comments: Nettes kleines Hotel. Bequemes Bett, anscheinend 2005 renoviert - also alles in gutem Zustand und sauber. Nettes Personal - ansprechendes Frￃﾼhstￃﾼck. Preis fￃﾼr englische Verhￃﾤltnisse unter der Berￃﾼcksichtigung der guten Lage (2 Metrostationen vom Zentrum entfernt) recht billig...

Good Points: Nice big room, comfortable bed Nice breakfast, not being rushed in the restaurant, not kept waiting
Bad Points: Very noisy floorbords, inside and outside. The wall partitions were not that soundproofed. No parking available in the carpark, I had to park near Ashley Grove, nearly 10minnute walk away because of the street zoning scheme now in place
Further Comments: Over all, hotel slightly run down, but very comfortable. TV a little small, but then we were not there to watch TV.

Further Comments: The hotel was convenient and not, I suppose, overtly expensive. I am glad I only stayed one night. However here is plenty of choice for hotels in Newcastle. Better given a miss

Good Points: Good size room. Comfortable bed. Tea/Coffee and buscuits supplied.
Bad Points: Corridors narrow. Corridor and stairs decor a little tired. No lift.
Further Comments: My room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a good size bathroom. Shower over bath good quality. Noise from bar below was noticable, but not a problem. The hotel is situated on a main road.

Further Comments: Had to wait to check-in, one receptionist, busy on the phone. Woke up with inscet bites on my arms neck and back, on moving the pillow discovered bed-bugs which I took in plastic cup to the reception on checking out. They did not seem duly concerened and did not offer any expalnation or real apology.

Good Points: Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Room pleasant and clean with good facilities.
Bad Points: There were some very noisy other guests who loud behaviour was unacceptable. It would have been better if they had been approached and asked to keep the noise level down. This in fact may have been done, I don't have any way of knowing. However if done, it was ineffectual.
Further Comments: Good clean accommodation with good facilities. Breakfast was reasonably good and of an acceptable standard for the cost. As mentioned above, other guests making a lot of noise did rather blight what would otherwise have been a good experience.

Good Points: Room was small, but nicely decorated and very comfortable. Bed was nice and generally, I felt the room was better than the likes of Premier Travel Inn and Travelodge, where I often stay, but who charge more and don't provide breakfast.
Bad Points: The hotel is in a lively area, so double-glazing would be a big benefit
Further Comments: Overall, I was happy with my stay. Check-in and check-out were easy, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The only criticism would be that the rooms did not have double-glazing and Jesmond is a lively area. Overall, very good value for money.

Good Points: It was within walking distance of the centre and situated in a student area, so it wasn't too far of the beaten track
Bad Points: Try and get WiFi into the rooms themselves and get rid of the radio/ticking clock (drove me nuts)
Further Comments: A decent enought stay for a decent price. Breakfast was nice, the staff there friendly and the en-suite toilet was spotless
