Good Points: Great value, clean, individual hotel. Friendly welcome, great meal too.
Further Comments: Excellent hotel and a change from the faceless chains. Good value and a great meal. Despite being an older hotel it was very clean and everything worked well.

Good Points: Had all the facilities I needed including a hair dryer.
Bad Points: The curtains were rather thin and room was under the hotel sign and lights so was never very dark.
Further Comments: Very helpful and friendly staff, food was on the whole very good. Was quite noisy from traffic but expected that being where it was. I felt very safe as a lone female traveller.

Good Points: The hotel is well run & all the staff are attentive. The food was great. The room was comfortable.
Bad Points: The only very slight downer, was the sauna could do with refurbishing.
Further Comments: My stay was excellent & I would certainly stay there again.

Good Points: The hotel was very very clean, tidy and comfortable. The rooms which had been recently refurbished were nicely done.
Bad Points: No lift - my elderly parents found the stairs very difficult.
Further Comments: The hotel is in a lovely spot, pleasant views in a rural setting yet conveniently placed for the A55. If all the hotel had been to the standard of the recently refurbished rooms and a lift was installed you could double your rates. As it is your rates reflect the rather dark and old fashioned bed rooms and lack of facilities for the infirm; a shame really because the old man and i would have liked a few drinks in the bar but couldn't face the unnecessary climb up and down!!!

Bad Points: Quite noisy for the majority of the night - doors slamming, people talking & walking down corridoors, music & TVs through the walls... made it a bit of a restless night.
Further Comments: I suppose it was what we paid for, but we could have used some earplugs. Room basic, but comfortable. Shower good.

Bad Points: Room we stayed in was good but had 1 problem with walls being so thin that the next door neighbour had his tv on all night,and we could here everything which did cause for the 2 nights stay a disruptive nights sleep. But everything else was good service etc

Good Points: The staff were friendly and helpful.
Bad Points: My room was particularly noisy. It was a particulalry stormy night, but the wind was creating a great deal of noise which appeared to be coming from the roof space, and was very disruptive to sleep!
