Good Points: Individual character of room. Inclusive breakfast. Quality of evening meal far exceeded expectations and excellent value for money - wine was also good.
Bad Points: Wi-Fi available in rooms.
Further Comments: Superb helpfulness of staff - e.g. let me use wired internet connection. Room delightful - not like usual characterless business hotels, nor like shabby travelling salesman's lodging house either!

Good Points: The room was clean and pleasant. The staff made us feel welcome and were very efficient.
Further Comments: The hotel was well placed and convenient for the city centre. The car parking facilities were good. the room was of a very high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was of good quality and well presented. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to book the same hotel again.

Good Points: everything. The location was good. The hotel was clean and the food was excellent.All the staff were freindly and very helpful. Our stay overall was excellent and we shall be staying ther again.

Good Points: The room was what we wanted. The room was kept clean. There were personal touches. The liquid soap and shower/shampoo were in decent sized bottles. Prefer this to solid soaps. Nothing too much trouble. Safe parking.
Bad Points: Phone in the room to contact Reception - we were many flights up! Do all evening meals have to come with vegetables and roast potatoes - not a natural accompaniment to canneloni or stroganoff. Even salad would have been a nice option. I'm sure that there could have been changes if requested but prefer to see them on the menu. Struggled with the wardrobe as half of it was semi blocked by a bedside table.
Further Comments: We loved the hotel generally - the decor, the themed rooms, the friendly and helpful staff, the choice of breakfasts and all I've put in the question about what we liked. The TV was a bit of a challenge as there was no access to a What's On and the sky channels were not in our papers. Not bothered by loads of sports channels or films; at home our Sky package enables us to watch the additional BBC and ITV channels. This is important to us, along with a radio because we like to fill our days then relax in the evenings, when on holiday. The only problem I had with the hotel was the amount and steepness of the stairs to our room - The Bronte - as I have a chronic back condition and really struggled to get up and down - particularly with baggage and fire doors. I'm sure that someone would have helped us to carry stuff down at the end of our stay as it was carried up at the beginning but there was no phone to ring down and ask. Overall though my husband described it as a small hotel with big hotel attitude - excellent quality of service and most in-room facilities. Pleased that they employ the eco policy of not automatically changing towels each day unless requested.

Good Points: Quaint feel of the hotel, which lent character. Unfortunately, in this case it also meant lack of comfort.
Bad Points: Our room esp the bathroom, felt tired. Needs freshening up. Some of the furniture akwardly placed e.g bedside tables
Further Comments: Not enough time etc to complete. Unlikely we would return to this hotel. Would we recommend? It might appeal to some of our friends.

Further Comments: We had a problem with the central heating in our original room,the duty manager resolved the matter immediately by moving us into another room and providing us with a bottle of wine in the form of an opology.Excellent service!

Further Comments: spoilt by the lack of information over dinning arangments even in b and b we could have had breakfast in a hotel we exspected this as a matter of course on the under standing you will rectifie the above we answer the rest of your questions

Further Comments: At ﾣ60+ and an indication of 3 stars I expected a business hotel. This was not the case. Both bar and restaurant were substandard for this price.

Good Points: Period decorated room with attention to detail. Comfortable and clean
Bad Points: The bar is a little stark and unwelcoming but the other facilities are very nicely appointed
Further Comments: It would be useful if the description mentioned that it is right next to Headingly Cricket ground, this would make it easier to find. It is not very obvious from the description just quite how far out of the town centre it is. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Nice lounge/library. Food good value for money, wouldn t recommend any of the wines though. It is a pity the restaurant closes so early as the bar is not nice to eat in after eight pm.

Good Points: The room, Bronte room, had beeb successfully modelled on a room of that period.
Bad Points: The general temperature was too warm in the hotel dining room and the bedroom, even though the window was open. The lighting in the bedroom was somewhat dim, but I suppose this was in keeping with the era of the theme of the room.
Further Comments: I would have liked to have known more about car parking, the proximity to the cricket ground and the distances from the local shops and the city centre. Overall, the whole stay was very successful and I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Good Points: Very clean and staff were very friendly.
Further Comments: This was a very quint hotel. Rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff helpful and friendly. Meals were of a high standard.
