Bad Points: Poor bathroom facilities, Rooms were extremely hot and smelt musty.
Further Comments: During stay the fire alarm went off and hotel reception did not know fire proceedure or was not making any attempt to evacuate the building. It was a false alarm but the staffs attatude did not inspire confidence that i was staying in a well ran and safe hotel. The bathroom had a mouldy shower curtain and very old shower, the water was also boiling hot and no signs to advise of this. The radiator would not turn down so the room was extremely hot and the smell when you first walked in was not pleasent.

Good Points: I liked everything about the accomodation, the staff were very friendly, everything was explained to me and i really enjoyed the hotel.
Further Comments: The hotel had everything i need and there was nothing i needed to know, apart from that if smoking was allowed in the rooms, i really enjoyed the hotel and will probably visit again.

Good Points: Food ok
Bad Points: Other guests came into cocktail lounge in working clothes. Bedroom was tired and needed updating. Basin in bathroom cracked, fan not working in toilet, light in hall not working.
Further Comments: Adequate for ￂﾣ30.00 would not have paid more. Slept in better B & B for less.

Good Points: good location of the hotel was my primary reason for booking
Bad Points: the service in the hotel was ppor and the room needed a make over
Further Comments: for what i wanted the was ok, i simply wanted somewhere to sleep. i would have liked breakfast but due to a bizarre system it cost ￂﾣ35 for a room or ￂﾣ60 for a room and breakfast (approx) so it must be a very good breakfast for ￂﾣ25.

Good Points: the reception was very nice
Bad Points: the bedroom was dirty and the bathroom was a disgrace plus no power in the shower
Further Comments: we didn't realise you had to pay for breakfast and in the book in the room it said residents could have a drink after hours but we got told we could not have one

Good Points: Proximity to premises I was visiting.
Bad Points: Lift did not work - I had to phone to be released. The considerable outside noise was not reduced by closing the double glazed windows. The room was so small that the TV (portable size) could be reached from the bed so no need for a remote control, not that there was one. No information about the local area in the room. The reception was being refurbished, which is commendable, but there was not even a handle on the main door to exit the hotel in the evening; some time later the best that was done was to improvise with twisted wire.
Further Comments: Clean but very basic.

Good Points: the hotel been so cetral 4 shoping and the nightlife. and the fact that the hotel is very clean

Further Comments: the dolphin hotel is very central two all the shops and only down te road from the night life. it is afriendly hotel and very clean i wuold requiremend it to friends and family

Good Points: Great value for the room, in good condition plenty of room inside and comfortable - also right in the centre of the city which was perfect
Bad Points: Only the building work that was being undertaken - but that did not effect my experience much
Further Comments: My stay was really good, room was very nice and right in the centre of the city. Good value
