Good Points: clean/comfortable
Bad Points: could have done with a hairdrier in the room
Further Comments: would definitely stay there again.very central location with adequate facilities.Food good,plenty of parking and quiet.

Further Comments: Very good...have stayed at the Borough before and it is very well placed for everything locally Staff very friendly and helpful Bar and bar food went down well with my guests Worth the extra 15 or so quid for the better room All in all would recommend

Good Points: Comfortable bed and pleasant bathroom. Enjoyed the coffee facilities in the room.
Bad Points: No shampoo and no shower-cap and no shoe-cleaning equipment.
Further Comments: The young woman who booked me in was courteous and friendly. I was a bit anxious about another person who seemed to know v. little about the local bus services though she kindly looked up train times for me. Why the Hotel should have assumed that I was going to take the Observer on Sunday just because I had taken the Guardian on Saturday, I'll never know.

Good Points: Proximity to Newcastle centre. Adequate room for single traveller, clean shower room

Bad Points: The radiator pipes made a noise for most of the night which was distracting and I found in hard to sleep.
Further Comments: The pipework needs attention!

Good Points: The size of the room, nice size bed, good seating, very quiet
Bad Points: The only thing was the size of the bath towels they need to be bigger
Further Comments: Overall the Hotel was very good, good room size, nice bar area, apartfrom the towels, the breakfeast could be a little bit more inventive.

Bad Points: Hairdryer in room, shelf in bathroom, room too small to justify ﾣ59, all rooms should have free safes.

Bad Points: Needs full modernisation. Rooms need to be brighter and cleaner.

Bad Points: More in the line toiletries would improve things - only 2 small bars of soap were provided. Shampoo/conditioner and body wash should also be provided as a minimum.
Further Comments: Basic no frills accommadation, clean, comfotable and friendly reception staff.

Further Comments: Stay was ok BUT there was a cold snap weather wise and the room was very cold the Saturday Night and Sunday morning. They did not appear to have put the heating on...somewhat spoilt the stay

Bad Points: Checking the facilities more regularly would be worthwhile: the hot water was *dangerously* hot and fast in both the shower and the bath.
Further Comments: The hotel itself is reasonably presented and handy for the town centre. The food is good
