Bad Points: The walls are very thin so there was a lot of noise. Also I could not turn off the hating which was on full all might every night.
Further Comments: When arriving back at the hotel late at night after work, the night time receptionist was fairly rude. The hotel seemed very empty, there was noone else at breakfast the morning I had it, but there seemed to be a lot of noise despite this.

Good Points: Lage gᅢᄐnstig zu meiner Arbeitsstelle.
Andere Gᅢᄂste waren teilweise nachts sehr laut. Es gab leider keinen Telefon- und Internetanschluss.
Further Comments: Fᅢᄐr einen Kurzaufenthalt ohne groᅢ゚e Ansprᅢᄐche durchaus angemessen, fᅢᄐr lᅢᄂngere, vor allem geschᅢᄂftliche Aufenthalte eher nicht geeignet!

Good Points: The friendliness and helpfulness of your staff was most refreshing.
Bad Points: The bathroom was primitive and tatty
Further Comments: the hotel is in need of more than a little sympathetic restoration but not modernisation. It has many charming Victorian features that could provide an attraction particularly with its location at the centre of the old Potteries which is becoming a Mecca for tourists. The bathroom of our room was a pretty disgusting and frankly inadequate feature. It was badly refurbished with totally out of character and extremely cheap fittings probably about 25 years ago and is no longer fit for purpose. The public rooms retain many period features that could be emphasised and built upon, although by the look of the improvements made so far. in the front bar, and restaurant particularly, there has been no design thought, related to the beautiful retained features like the ornate plasterwork to cornices and ceilings. You need to decide whether to recreate a Victorian Grand Railway Hotel, using Victorian furniture which at the moment fetches nothing at auction and could be used to create a luxurious atmosphere that would draw custom, or gut it and go for a Holiday Inn look alike. option one would move you up market, option two would make the place just like any other cheap hotel. However, all in all, your staff are excellent and extremely helpful and prices are very competitive. Work on the fabric of the building, heating and plumbing especially as a matter of urgency.

Good Points: good location of the hotel, clean and tidy.
Bad Points: It wasn't that comfortable because central heating not been operate, we stay without heating in temperature minus 4 degree for 8x night, we inform reception but there wasn't any action taken. Hope your management improve the service in the future. thank you.
Further Comments: good for summer holiday, but not good for winter if there is no heating supply.

Good Points: It was in the right part of the country
Bad Points: Cleanliness - it was horrificly dirty.
Further Comments: The bedroom was on the same level as the overgroud railway and above a bar. The room was filthy, the bar below noisy. I will never return.

Good Points: The large double beds

Good Points: The whole experience was awful, and really appreciate the opportunity to express my views.
Bad Points: Cleanliness, the carpet was absulutely filthy. The heating did not have any controls therefore when I complained at the desk we were told to open the window which meant we were unable to sleep for the noise. Continental breakfast consisted of cereals, (choice of 3)small glas of orange jouce (no choice) and 2 rounds of white toast (again no choice) The shsower did not work properly, as the head did not fit properly and had to be held by hand.
Further Comments: One would expect to have a standard of cleanliness, and the basics of heating control, shower head a little more choice over breakfast.

Good Points: It had a queen size bed and a television
Bad Points: Slightly later check out time would be appreciated, heating on in room prior to customer arrival would be nice. Soundproofing!!! Wake up call at the requested time!!!! I missed breakfast because I never got the requested wake up call!!!!
Further Comments: The hotel was adequate for my purpose, a bed for the night and that was reflected in the price.
