Further Comments: Overall this hotel was just what we needed and provided a decent room for the night. The staff at the hotel were great and while the room was basic, it was adequate. This hotel is a bit outdated and I feel you are paying more for the position than the quality.

Further Comments: I feel that we were well informed as to the location and the facilities that this hotel had to offer. Although no mention was made when we booked in about the leisure facilities that we were supposed to be available to us at the nearby Leisure Centre. Fortunately the weather was good and we did not want to take this offer, but still feel that we could have been reminded about this.

Good Points: The hotel and rooms were extremely clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Bad Points: The shower in our room wasn't working properly but I reported this to the hotel staff and they were extremely helpful and accomodating. The problem was resolved and this shows the excellent customer service provided by the staff.
Further Comments: Very well run hotel, very friendly staff who provide a very high level of customer service. I recommend that if you ever have a problem then you let the staff know as they will do what ever they can to rectify the problem. I would recommend this warm friendly place to anyone.

Further Comments: I enjoyed my stay here - the staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is a big plus with the beach, shops and restaurants only a short walk away. The hotel is, however, located on the top of a hill so expect a steep climb when you return from the beach. My room was small but clean and nicely furnished. It had a decent TV with teletext. A couple of minor faults were found in the bathroom - a broken shaving mirror light and a crack in the shower's sliding door. I didn't have a problem with noise but there is the potential. The walls are pretty thin so if you are unlucky to have rowdy guests next door, your stay could be ruined. Also, just outside the window is a garden with table and chairs. Nobody used it while I was there but it wouldn't have been nice if they had. The hotel offers free access to the leisure facilities of the Marriot Hotel. I didn't have time to try it out, so I can't comment on how good an advantage this is.

Further Comments: From arrival to departure we were treated excellently. The staff made the stay very enjoyable and the food and service was of a very high quality. I would recommend this hotel highly.

Good Points: Location to the town centre and beach. Friendly staff, room was clean.
Bad Points: Bar Lounge was closed by 9pm so couldn't get a drink upon our return from dinner. Noisy, abusive guest disturbed us at 2am in the morning by continously banging on our door, the matter was not resolved quickly enough and we didn't feel that there was adequate staffing to deal with the situation.
