Good Points: Most unique single rooms (Captain's Cabin and Quaterdeck)I have ever stayed in
Bad Points: Big mark and flaking ceiling above bed in captain's Cabin
Further Comments: Staff were friendly but seemed inexperienced in Bar and restaurant. Reception excellent.

Good Points: freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges, gutes Frￃﾼhstￃﾼck im schￃﾶnen Restaurant, ausreichend Parkplￃﾤtze zu Einfahrten von beiden benachbarten Straￃﾟen
Further Comments: Der Anfahrtsweg war nur von der M 5 beschrieben. Es wￃﾤre hilfreich auch die Bundesstraￃﾟen zu berￃﾼcksichtigen, z.B. die A 35 aus Richtung Dorchester.

Good Points: The room was very spacious and the hotel was lovely.
Bad Points: The noise!! Paper thin walls meant we heard everything from the family next door plus we got loads of noise from the kitchen downstairs. Ear plugs didn't help.
Further Comments: The noise and lack of sleep meant that we did not find our stay at all pleasant. We were attending late night functions so if we'd known the situation in the hotel beforehand we would have specifically asked for a quiet room - apparently other part of the hotel were less noisy.

Bad Points: Room small and smelt of cigarette smoke, bathroom very small, old and tatty but clean
Further Comments: Due to the size of the room and bathroom it was ok for an overnight stay but would not like to stay any longer.

Good Points: Very friendly welcome and excellant treatment by all staff during the stay. Hotel was in an excellant condition and would definately go back.

Good Points: Friendly staff, good location, easy parking, nice breakfast!
Bad Points: There was a stag party staying at the hotel, as the hotel was not full the management should have tried to put them in a part of the hotel away from other guests
Further Comments: Nice hotel with friendly staff, but the stay was partly ruined by a stag party. the hotel must take some of the blame as they continued to serve the party drinks from the bar until 5am...SHAME!

Further Comments: Nice hotel with friendly staff, but the stay was partly ruined by a stag party. the hotel must take some of the blame as they continued to serve the party drinks from the bar until 5am...SHAME!

Good Points: Good value, good food, nice friendly atmosphere.
Bad Points: Computer/TV equipment was dirty, decor was past its best.
Further Comments: Nice location, convenient and good size single en-suite room. Pleasantly surprised to get a room at short notice in early summer. No major gripes.

Good Points: The size of the room was good, and the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The room and ensuite were clean.
Bad Points: The smoking room, complete with open door, just as we walked into the hotel. As the door was left open, the smoke wafted freely throughout the hotel. The rooms were officially 'non-smoking', but there was a smell of smoke throughout. The curtains were wierd as the pulley didn't work so I ended up balancing on a table to pull them!
Further Comments: Very nice staff. Great location. Good value. Lots of steps, so not for those with mobility problems (I didn't spot a lift, and there are even steps into the dining room). I guess after July 1st the pervading cigarette smoke will be gone? (hope so!).

Good Points: The hotel was situated in a location close enough to walk to the beach and town from.
Bad Points: The accommodation was basic, but was good quality for the price we paid.
Further Comments: Our stay at the hotal and overall weekend away was good. Some of the younger members of staff at the hotel were more than willing to help us enjoy our weekend by recommending good bars, clubs etc. There was a relaxed atmosphere within the hotel and other guests were friendly and obviously just wanted to have a good weekend away!

Good Points: The staff were excellent, the hotel is superbly situated and in pretty grounds. The rooms were nicely equipped and comfortable.
Bad Points: All was good but the tiles and grout in the shower could do with some TLC!
